An eight-year-old girl is among three family members found dead in a suspected double murder suicide.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland said the bodies of a man, woman and female child were discovered at a property in the Old Cullybackey Road area of Ballymena, Northern Ireland on the morning of July 13.
Mid & East Antrim District Commander Superintendent William Calderwood confirmed this afternoon that the deaths are being treated as a “double murder followed by a sudden death”.
Officers attended the scene at around 9am before the bodies of three people from the same family – a man aged 41, a woman aged 39 and a girl aged eight – were located in the home.
