England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland fans could win tickets to a match of their choice as well as securing hundreds of pounds in savings on a new 4K smart TV

With the 2026 FIFA World Cup fast-approaching, EE is knocking hundreds of pounds off smart TVs so football fans can upgrade their setup in time for kick-off. Ahead of the tournament on June 11, the mobile, broadband and TV provider is also offering football fans the chance to win tickets to a Home Nations match.

Customers who purchase any TV from the EE website by the end of the World Cup on July 19 will be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win a pair of tickets to a Home Nations football game in the UK. There are 10 pairs of tickets to be won for a game of the winners’ choice, whether they support England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.

However, it’s worth noting these tickets are not for a game at this year’s World Cup but will be a fixture between September and December. As well as the chance to win free match tickets, there are also discounts of up to £500 on TVs from big-name brands like Samsung, Sony, LG and Hisense.

The biggest savings are available with the most premium models such as the Samsung QN93F QLED Mini LED 4K Ultra HD Smart AI TV at £1,999 (was £2,499). As well as stunning 4K image quality and a huge 75” screen, customers ordering this model can claim up to 20% Cashback from Samsung.

Among the more affordable models is the Hisense A7QTUK QLED AI Smart TV from £309, delivering ‘true-to-life’ visuals with QLED Colour technology. The Hisense TV also uses an AI 4K Upscaler to boost the image quality of classic films and TV shows into modern 4K quality.

Win free tickets to a Home Nations football game

EE’s Summer of Sport deal offers football fans free tickets to an England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland game of their choice between September and December 2026. To enter, customers just need to order any smart TV on the EE website by July 19, many of which come with discounts up to £500.

It also boasts deep, powerful bass thanks to its built-in subwoofer. Also in the sale is Samsung’s Crystal UHD U8020F 4K Smart TV from £229, which offers ‘enhanced’ 4K visuals and ‘vibrant’ audio with the brand’s Crystal Processor.

This ensures optimal image quality in 4K UHD resolution that delivers four times the detail of Full HD. It’s also an ideal TV for watching sports as Samsung’s Motion Xcelerator ensures smooth and clear picture quality by intelligently adjusting frames during fast-paced action.

Another model eligible for the Home Nations tickets competition is the 55” Toshiba UV2F LED 4K Ultra HD Smart TV at £249. This device is said to deliver stunning detail with 4K Ultra HD and Dolby Vision, with crisp multidimensional sound powered by Dolby Atmos and a 20W speaker output.

The EE sale comes amid a rival deal at Sky, where both of the brand’s Glass smart TVs are currently 20% off. The most affordable model is the Sky Glass Air at £4.50 (was £6) per month, while the more premium Sky Glass Gen 2 is now £11 (was £14).

Meanwhile, Amazon has rebranded the Fire TV range – now known as Amazon Ember – and launched a brand-new model with the Ember Artline. This model is designed to imitate framed artwork and is currently up to £270 off.

For those deciding which TV to go for in EE’s Home Nations tickets competition, the Hisense A7QTUK model has earned high praise on the brand’s own website, where it holds a 4.7-star rating after almost 300 reviews.

One says: “Outstanding quality for the price. This is the first TV I’ve owned that has a picture quality that’s so crisp and clear, no juddering or blurring. The sound can be adjusted to suit your viewing preference, or purchase a sound bar to view a cinematic experience. The setup was so simple that the remote was easy to use to navigate. I will definitely be staying with Hisense.”

Another said: “For the price I can’t see how you could do better. The picture is great, but what impresses me is the sound. Usually, without a soundbar, the TVs in the £300 to £400 price range sound tinny and a bit lacklustre, but not this one. With its built-in subwoofer, it sounds great.”

Not everyone agrees, as this Hisense customer said: “The sound is a bit tin-like even though I adjusted the sound settings. The picture is of fabulous quality.”

Nevertheless, another five-star review says: “This is a super TV, the stand was easy to put on, and the set-up was easy. Picture quality is absolutely lovely and very clear; it looks fabulous on my TV stand. I’ve had a couple of Hisense TVs now, and they keep getting better and better.”
