An easyJet flight declared an emergency over the UK, as fire crews raced to meet it
The flight from Liverpool John Lennon Airport was diverted to Manchester Airport after an emergency moments after taking off. It had been headed to Fuerteventura but experienced an issue shortly after departure.
The easyJet flight U23375 issued an alert due to vibrations on the number one engine, according to Liverpool Echo. The aircraft in-turn declared an emergency landing at Manchester on Wednesday.
According to Flight Radar the flight was scheduled to leave Liverpool at 1:15pm. It was met by airport fire service as a precaution after landing in Manchester. After checks were carried out, the flight continued to Fuerteventura later that day.
