The bedding comes in two different sizes and colour options
Shoppers are claiming that a “timeless” duvet set that has been slashed in price is “better quality” than other high-end brands. Normally, this set would cost more than double what the Dusk bosses have reduced the price to during an online sale.
The Thea Duvet Cover & Pillowcase Set has been slashed in price during Dusk’s online sale. The cotton bedding bundle is available in two sizes, starting with king (£17, down from £45) and super king (£15, down from £50).
At the time of writing, the double version of both colours (Pewter Green and Off White) is sold out. Describing the set online, Dusk bosses say: “Classic design with modern comfort, Thea is timeless in every way.
Dusk’s ‘superb’ and ‘sturdy’ accent chair that looks ‘much more expensive’ is £38 off
‘I love this sleek Dusk lamp that is perfect for a corner with no plug sockets’
“Crafted from 100% cotton percale with a 200 thread count, Thea blends effortless style with breathable comfort. The small-scale check print offers a modern twist on a timeless pattern, while wooden button details add a natural, rustic feel.”
Available in Pewter Green or Off White, Dusk claims that this bedding set brings a “look that suits every bedroom”. The company bosses also wrote that the simplistic design adds “understated styling with a hint of vintage charm”.
There are other homeware sales on at the moment for people considering a new bedding set to refresh their bedroom. Dunelm has a deal on the similar-looking Yard Howarth Check 100% Cotton Duvet Cover & Pillowcase Set, starting at £48 for a king size.
Elsewhere, shoppers could pick up this Cotton Blend Modern Check Bedding Set from M&S starting at £10, in sizes spanning double to super king. However, the Dusk deal has proven popular with dozens of shoppers who shared their glowing reviews online.
One said: “Bedding is very soft and pleasant to touch. Quality is also very good. Washed a couple of times and still looks like new.”
Another put: “Love the colour and the material. Got it at a very good price as well, cheaper than what you get in most sites/shop at the same, if not better, quality.” Someone else wrote: “The picture doesn’t do this justice – really good fabric and washes well.”
A fourth shopper said: “Now purchased six of these sets in different patterns. All of them are excellent quality, wash well and are very comfortable to sleep under! Fantastic value!”
And, a fifth person posted in their review: “Quality duvet set, soft and luxurious.” But, despite all of these flawless five-star reviews, a few shoppers had some issues with their order.
One claimed: “Lovely soft bedding! Only reason for not giving five stars is the sewing came apart after the initial wash out of packaging.”
Another wrote: “The cover and pillow case are not as soft as the 300-count ones I’ve had off Dusk, but they are well-made and feel nice to the touch. They are also very much better than others I’ve had in the past from Tesco. I don’t know where the green in the title fits in, as they just look grey to me, it’s a nice grey though.”
These were the only ‘poor’ reviews available on the Thea Duvet Cover & Pillowcase Set, but still awarded it four stars. The majority of the reviews were five stars, like this one: “Such lovely covers and such good quality material and super comfy!”
