The ‘captivating’ light adds ‘a touch of magic’ to bedrooms and living rooms
Dunelm is stocking a ‘spellbinding’ £10 rainbow lamp. Known for selling stylish yet affordable lighting and homeware, the retailer could have another crowd-pleaser on its hands.
The home furnishings store is selling a Rainbow Projector Lamp on its website, and it has gone down a treat with shoppers. The lamp has earned an average rating of 4.3 out of stars from reviewers, with one fan saying the light creates a ‘warm feeling for the winter nights.’ According to the retailer, the lamp is ‘ideal for parties and setting the ambience.’
Showcasing the £10 lamp, Dunelm’s product description said: “Infuse a touch of magic into your child’s bedroom or add captivating elements to your living room with this Rainbow light, perfect for casting a spellbinding light effect that becomes even more enchanting the further away the lamp moves from the wall.

Dunelm added that the lamp has an ‘average life’ of 10,000 hours. It is 5W and comes with a two-year guarantee. Rating the lamp, one impressed shopper said: “Lovely little lamp. So cute. And the pastel shades the lamp gives off are just right. Not bright. Not over the top. Just a calmness feeling.”
Another fan wrote: “Obsessed, so cute, so fun. Great quality, adds such a nice atmosphere to my room.” Someone else said: “Good value. Happily surprised at the light this wee lamp gives you. Warm feeling for the winter nights.”
Not everyone left glowing feedback. A different shopper commented: “This was bought as a gift for my friend’s daughter. You do not plug this into a wall socket. You have to plug it into a phone charger. It’s not as amazing as I thought it would be but it’s ok for a child’s bedroom.”
However, the majority of comments were positive. A customer said: “Really gorgeous and pretty sturdy. Adds a beautiful splash of colour to a room. Will definitely be purchasing a second one for my niece.”
A similar comment read: “Purchased two for our bedroom, tried it out as soon as I opened it and absolutely love it as does our youngest who is now trying to claim one of them.”
