Primark shoppers can ‘add drama’ to their wardrobe with a new maxi dress designed for special occasions. Known for selling stylish clothing and accessories, the retailer could have a new crowdpleaser on its hands.
The fashion giant is selling a ‘satin-look’ dress that’s ‘designed to stand out.’ According to Primark, the evening dress is ‘perfect for formal events, weddings or special evenings.’ As such, the new style could impress fashion fans shopping for summer weddings, garden parties, and similar events.
Primark’s £22 Asymmetric Flared Sleeve Maxi Dress is available to buy now. Customers can buy the dress via click and collect or use Primark’s website to check in-store availability at their nearest location. The maxi dress is offered in sizes 6 to 22.
The retailer told shoppers the one-shoulder dress ‘catches the light with every step.’ The product description explained: “Designed to stand out, this maxi dress brings a modern twist to evening dressing. Made from a satin-look fabric with a soft sheen, it catches the light with every step.
“The diagonal neckline highlights the collarbone, while the slim-fit bodice skims the body for a clean silhouette. One side is finished with an oversized flared sleeve, adding drama and movement.
“Subtle gathering at the shoulder creates gentle pleating, and the rich fig shade completes the look. Perfect for formal events, weddings or special evenings.”
Showcasing the dress on its website, Primark paired the dress with black heeled sandals, similar to the £7 Buckle Detail Block Heel Sandals. On sale from £16, the shoes are described as ‘block heel sandals with asymmetric cross straps and buckle details.’
The model also wore Primark’s £4 The Edit Resin Drop Earrings, and she finished the look with a bracelet, similar to the £4 Curved Cuff Bracelet. Shoppers could also add further accessories, such as a handbag, fascinator, or rings, depending on the occasion.
