Leopard print isn’t going anywhere, and Dr Marten has just launched their popular Zebzag mules in the trending animal print with shoppers calling them their ‘favourite shoes ever’
Leopard print has really been everywhere the past two years. Of course, it’s a classic print that will always be in fashion but thanks to trends like the ‘mob wife aesthetic’, the animal print has had a new lease of life. And Dr Martens has launched a few leopard print styles that we can’t get enough of.
In particular, the Zebzag Suede Casual Slingback Platform Mules, £120, have shoppers calling them their ‘favourite shoes ever’. The Zebzag mules have been one of the brand’s most popular styles, and we love the new suede shades they’ve been offering.
The mules combine a hybrid air-cushioned sole with lightweight suede, making them perfect for warmer spring/summer and cooler months. The versatile, adjustable strap can be moved to achieve a secure fit or a backless slip-on mule look. To create the pattern, Dr Martens used genuine hair-on cow leather with a leopard print.
They also feature the classic yellow welt stitching, which is the marker that the mules are Dr. Martens.

We’re not the only ones who are big fans of this style, with TikTok user @yojojo0_ posting a video of them on their page and being inundate with comments of praise. A few commenters wrote: “Ok Doc Martens need to stop my wallet can’t take it anymore”, “Why is it the most perfect leopard print too”, and “omg i have the muted pink ones and i love them so much and then they make cheetah print stop. Super cute!”
Wondering how to style these mules? We think keeping it simple and letting the shoes shine works best. Team them with a pair of slouchy straight-leg jeans, and a leather bomber jacket for a cool girl look.
If the mule style isn’t your thing, Dr Martens has a whole range of shoes in the exact same leopard print pattern. We especially love the brand’s Buzz Leopard Mary Jane Shoes in Light Tan, £150. Mary Janes are a huge trend this spring, so you’ll be combining two trends in one with this pair. The Mattison Leopard Slide Sandals, £120, are also the shoes to get your hands on for summer.
Alternatively, if you don’t like the chunky look, New Look’s Brown Animal Print Unlined Clogs, currently £20.99, offer a flatter shape but still look just as cool.
