The Airbrush Flawless Finish powder from Charlotte Tilbury is designed to ‘smooth’ and ‘blur’ the look of fine lines and imperfections
Beauty lovers looking for the perfect setting powder needn’t search any further. Charlotte Tilbury’s cult-favourite Airbrush Flawless Finish has been receiving constant praise for delivering ‘incredible’ results to thousands of makeup lovers, including those with mature skin.
Available in four shades, the Airbrush Flawless Finish setting powder aims to blur fine lines, imperfections and pores, creating an ‘airbrushed’ effect on the skin. Charlotte Tilbury fans can choose from fair, medium, tan and deep shades, with prices starting from £22 for a travel size.
The award-winning beauty product is enriched with hydrating ingredients to keep the skin comfortable, while preventing a dry or cakey look. Ideal for locking in makeup and controlling shine, it features almond oil, rose wax and nano-particles to hydrate the complexion and smooth out the skin’s surface.
Many users claim the Airbrush Flawless Finish is suitable for setting concealer under the eyes. Great for those who avoid heavy powders, the product promises to sit like a ‘cashmere veil’ on top of skin with its blend of light-reflecting ingredients.
Additionally, it’s available in a £39 full-size compact. As someone who has has used powder for years – and never miss it out of my makeup routine – I can confirm the results are glorious. It’s the first powder I found that doesn’t crease under the eyes, and I always apply Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray on top.

The Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder from Charlotte Tilbury uses an ultra-fine, micro-powder formula to blur imperfections and reduce shine.
Priced from £20, this popular setting spray works in harmony with the Airbrush Flawless Finish, blending the powder into the skin and leaving a natural, skin-like finish. Although I can always count on these two products for long-lasting results, there are many alternative makeup buys to consider for achieving the same poreless, hydrated and filter-like finish.
Kosas’ Cloud Set Setting Powder is another item I swear by. It is incredibly lightweight and doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. Costing £28 on Sephora, it has a talc-free formula that aims to deliver the diffused finish of a loose powder.
One beauty fan with dry skin left a five-star review of the product on Sephora, saying: “This powder is so light, blurring and yet keeps the glow. I love it!”
Elsewhere, Laura Mercier’s Ultra Blur Pressed Setting Powder (£44, LookFantastic) is also loved for its ‘weightless’ feel. It contains amino acids, silica and hyaluronic acid, promising to last for up to 16 hours. Reviewers have raved about how it works well on mature skin, but some found it hard to apply.
Meanwhile, Charlotte’s Airbrushed Flawless Finish has racked up heaps of glowing reviews from older makeup buffs, with one happy customer stating: “I found this powder to set and blur and it did not cake under my eyes when I set my concealer. The impact itself was beautiful as always overall a great powder for my dry and mature skin.”
A second shopper added: “I can’t believe how well this powder matches my skin. it’s very soft and light. I love that there is no scent. It has lasted all day, flawlessly. This is definitely my new favourite brand.”
Someone else added: “If you’re looking for that blurred, red-carpet skin, this is it. The formula is so finely milled that it disappears into the skin, leaving a soft-focus glow that looks incredible in every lighting.”
Whilst many users were impressed with its formulation, some weren’t as happy, with one reviewer adding: “Flawless finish is definitely not the name I’d use for this product. It gives the very slightest of coverage. I have a faint bit of redness to my skin and this didn’t even blend that.”
