‘It’s sweet, seductive. Lovely for every day wear as well as evening wear’
Calvin Klein’s iconic Euphoria range has come out with three new scents and shoppers are saying it’s ‘seductive’. The new trio of scents start at £60 for a 30ml, £76 for 50ml and £100 for 100ml.
Bold Elixir is a floral gourmand that opens up bold with pomegranate and persimmon before deepening to a heart of smoky orchid and lotus blossom. It then balances out with a grounded base of amber, sandalwood, musk and cream.
Solar Elixir is a lot more tropical, opening with a bright mango note and a heart of golden orchid. It has a vanilla and cedarwood base. The final new scent Magnetic Elixir which has a top note of ambrette, a heart of dancing orchid and a base of vanilla and musks.
Euphoria isn’t the only line to have a new variation introduced of late, recently YSL’s Libre line had a fruity new addition. YSL Libre Berry Crush (£77) has raspberry and coconut notes that set it aside from the original.
Marc Jacobs Daisy has also recently come out with a collaboration with Takashi Murakami. There are four scents released and on Sephora they’ve reduced them from £90 to £72.

This has a smoky orchid note
Calvin Klein Euphoria Bold Elixir Parfum Intense has pulled in an average rating of 4.7 out of 5 from across 613 reviews. One shopper said: “I loved the floral scent of this perfume. Perfect for the cooler months as it is also woody but mixed with the florals gives it a perfect feminine twist. It lasted well throughout the day, even when out the house for extended periods of time.”
It’s said to bring in lots of compliments, with one shopper saying: “This product was lovely! The packaging and perfume bottle was very sleek and stylish and looked great on my perfume shelf. The scent was very strong and I could really smell the vanilla and jasmine in it. I had lots of compliments while I was wearing this perfume and noticed the scent lasted a long time on me.”
One shopper said the scent leans quite masculine, writing: “This is a very strong scent and it smells good, but it’s just not for me. I actually think it has a pretty masculine smell to it… but I still enjoy the smell it just definitely won’t be something for my every day wear.”
It is worth noting that the orchid in Euphoria Bold Elixir is smoky which can lean more masculine. For those who want something sweeter the other two iterations of Euphoria would be a better fit.
However some shoppers did still find it sweet, with another writing: “It’s sweet, seductive. Lovely for every day wear as well as evening wear. The vanilla gourmet scent transpires nicely and it has become a daily go to for me!”
