We’ll be bringing you the very latest updates, pictures and video on this breaking news story.

The text three teenagers sent to a man in order to lure him into an attack which resulted in his death has been revealed for the first time.

A girl, 16, and a 15-year-old boy were today convicted of the manslaughter of Alexander Cashford in Leysdown-on-Sea on August 10 last year.

A 16-year-old male previously pleaded guilty to a secondary charge of manslaughter.

The 49-year-old had given the girl his number on August 8 after meeting her at an amusement arcade, jurors were told.

Using the fake name Sienna, the trio of teens exchanged messages with Mr Cashford and arranged to meet him by the sea wall on August 10, the court heard. These messages have now been released for the first time.

When Mr Cashford met with the 16-year-old girl, the pair walked together along the seafront while the two teenage boys followed behind, the trial was told.

The teen trio had been on trial at Woolwich Crown Court accused of murdering Mr Cashford, but all three teenagers – who cannot be named for legal reasons – have now been acquitted of murder. All three will be sentenced for manslaughter convictions at a later hearing.
