Officers investigating an outbreak of disorder have arrested five men as their enquiries to identify those responsible and take action continues at pace
Police have arrested five men after a large group of people were spotted brandishing weapons while walking down a street in a quiet suburb last night.
Photos captured the armed group walking along a street in Page Hall, Sheffield, at around 4:30pm on Monday, February 2. South Yorkshire Police said they were alerted to a large group of people, “armed with pieces of wood and poles” and fighting in the street on Firth Park Road. Within minutes of the 999 calls, police were on scene, where one officer suffered a minor injury from an object being thrown.
