An elderly woman has died after an alleged serious assault on Christmas Day despite desperate efforts from paramedics to save her.
The woman, in her 80s, died in a flat in Devizes, Wiltshire. Now, a 63-year-old woman, who police say is “known to the victim” has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
