Kent Police are appealing for witnesses after a four-year-old boy was hit by a black Range Rover in Gillingham on Friday afternoon
A four-year-old boy has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car in Kent.
The child was involved in a collision with a black Range Rover on Nelson Road in Gillingham at around 4.12pm on Friday (July 3), Kent Police said. The boy was reported to have been crossing the road beforehand, the force said.
Officers and paramedics attended the scene and the child was taken to a hospital in London, where he remains. The road was closed while an investigation was carried out.
Officers from Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has relevant dashcam footage, to come forward.
