Skincare guru and This Morning regular Caroline Hirons’s beauty brand Skin Rocks has just launched its most powerful retinol product to date, with impressive results on fine lines

Aimed at those already accustomed to using retinol-type products and who are looking for the next step up in their skincare routine, Skin Rocks Retinoid 3 serum, £90, contains the brand’s highest strength of vitamin A yet, an active level of 0.21% retinal plus 0.5% Adapinoid, a third generation retinoid that helps to reduce the appearance of breakouts while targeting signs of ageing. In a jokey message to staff shared on Instagram when creating it, Caroline said, “I want my face to fall off (in a good way),” and “I want it to be borderline illegal”.
In Skin Rocks’ clinical studies, Retinoid 3 was proven to decrease the depth of the deepest wrinkles, decrease the appearance of UV spots and improve skin texture after four weeks of use, as well as increase the skin’s firmness, elasticity and brightness. Consumer trials, meanwhile, revealed that 81% said skin feels firmer after two weeks, and 91% said skin looks more youthful after eight weeks – and there are some pretty impressive before-and-after shots and customer reviews to prove it.
