There are few brands as revered for their lipstick formulas as MAC, but at £25 for one of their iconic lippys, they don’t necessarily come cheap. However, Boots is treating beauty enthusiasts to an early Black Friday offer that means they can get the highly popular Velvet Teddy lipstick for less than £10.
It comes as the health and beauty favourite has launched a number of brand new Star Gift offers, including the MAC Go For Gold Golden Heroes set, which slashes £55 off a selection of the brand’s most popular products. Retailing at £39, it contains four full-sized favourites worth £94 – but as part of the deal, they work out at £9.75 each.

MAC hails Velvet Teddy as a deep-tone beige, dubbing it the ideal all-day nude that flatters a variety of skin tones. The MACXimal Silky Matte formula promises a comfortably wearable, smooth consistency said to last up to 12 hours on your lips.
The shade has racked up a number of five-star reviews on the MAC website, with one commenting: “I love this lipstick shade! Including the texture first a matte lipstick as it goes on smoothly without any weird texture to my lips!”
Another added: “Velvet Teddy is the best nude I have used by MAC to date! It blends with my Chestnut Lipliner perfectly and I am very happy with it!”

One said: “I bought Velvet Teddy after admiring the lipstick on a friend. I have wanted a Mulberry shade lipstick for a while and the colour looked perfect on my friend. I bought it online but when it arrived the colour wasn’t as expected. The shade is very similar to my natural lip colour and appears nude rather than the stronger colour expected. That said the lipstick feels silky and light on my skin and has lasted quite well so far and smells delicious. My search continues!”
