Beauty fans are snapping up a gift set from Boots that is packed with high-end items for a fraction of the cost. Some claim that this bundle of products includes big names that help beauty lovers “feel fresh and clean” or get “so many compliments”.
Christmas might be over and done with for another year, but shoppers at Boots can get their hands on the popular beauty baubles that were recently restocked. The only one showing availability to buy online includes £69 worth of products to try for just £16.
The ‘Stars of the Show’ Beauty Bauble was recently brought back online, with shoppers getting another chance to pick up the compact gift set. The online product description reads: “Meet the must-haves that always steal the spotlight. Stars of the Show features a high-performance mix of skincare, haircare, and polish-perfecting treats, ready to deliver a standing ovation-worthy glow.”

At the time of writing (January 12), the bauble is on offer for 20% less than what it was during the festive season. Back in December, it was selling online for £20 but is now available while stocks last for £16.

There are similar beauty bundles available elsewhere, such as the Soft Glam Starter Kit Beauty Box from Next (worth £62, selling for £20). Shoppers could also grab one of the leftover Merry Kissmas Lip Crackers from OK! Beauty (worth £65, selling for £29.99) – but there has been huge interest in the Boots bauble.
For the “rich burgundy shimmer” nail polish, shoppers wrote online that it was “long-lasting” and “easy to apply”. A third put that it was a “gorgeous” colour that “got so many compliments”, but others complained the polish looked “cheap” and “not like the photo”, as one shopper called their purchase an “expensive mistake”.
Another popular product is Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, with hundreds of glowing reviews. One shopper said: “I have been using this product for several months now, and have noticed a big difference in the quality of my skin and complexion. I have sensitive skin that’s prone to breakouts, eczema, and oil, and this has cleared up my breakouts and made my skin softer and smoother in general.”
Someone else shared that it made their skin “feel fresh and clean” whilst a third told other Boots customers that they made this “part of daily routine”. However, some were not so thrilled with the cleanser as one claimed: “The formula has changed over the years, and most recently I’ve noticed every time I use cleanse and polish, I get huge spots under my skin!”
However, despite the products themselves having plenty of glowing reviews, shoppers have posted a few negative reviews about the bauble itself. Two shoppers claimed that their online orders arrived “squashed and ungiftable” after being forced into small packaging.
