As part of the deal, shoppers can snap up products from Sol de Janeiro, Too Faced and MILK Makeup, for an average of £3.66 each
From Latitude to Creamfields, Kendall Calling to Leeds, festival season is in full swing, and Boots has launched the ultimate beauty box for music lovers heading out into the fields this summer. Worth more than £265, the Festival Beauty Box is priced at £55, and contains some seriously impressive brands and products from the high street retailer’s beauty hall.
Offering a huge saving of £210.40, it includes 15 products, 12 of which are full size, meaning that it’s not packed full of tiny samples you can only use once or twice. Designed with festival season in mind, the edit combines makeup, skincare and haircare to help you stay looking fresh all weekend, including brands like Sol de Janeiro, Too Faced, MILK Makeup, COSRx, Dr Jart, BYOMA and The Ordinary.
While I’m (sadly) not heading to a festival this year, the edit is not ticket-holder exclusive, and features plenty inside that I’d happily pack for a weekend away. From dry shampoos and SPF to eyeshadow sticks and heatwave-ready face mists, there’s something for everyone, with a nice balance of fan favourites and more under-the-radar picks.
Korean skincare fans, or those curious about trying K-beauty, can find products from the likes of COSRx, Dr Jart and Illiyoon. Considering the popularity of Asian skincare at the moment, it makes the box particularly appealing.
COSRx’s cult-favourite Snail Mucin Essence has built a huge following thanks to its intensely hydrating formula, while Illiyoon’s Ceramide Ato Cream is brilliant for strengthening the skin barrier after long days in the sun.

Featuring the perfect mix of makeup, haircare, and skincare, this edit has everything you need to create standout looks, refresh on the go, and discover your next beauty obsession.
Dr Jart’s Cicapair Colour Correcting Treatment is another product that’s earned cult status, helping reduce the appearance of redness while giving skin a more even-looking complexion without the need for heavy foundation. Mamonde is a South Korean brand I’d not heard of, so the minis featured are a lovely way to discover the brand.
I always think the sign of a good beauty box is one that features products you know you love, as well as those set to become new favourites. And this edit ticks that box, too. Sol de Janeiro’s Cheirosa 62 is one of my favourite fragrances for summer, and the 30ml bottle is the perfect size for popping into a handbag or festival backpack for top-ups throughout the day.
I’m also already a fan of REHAB’s Sunshine Spritz Hair Oil, which helps smooth frizz and add shine without making hair feel greasy, while Patchology’s hydrogel masks are another product I use regularly. After an early start, or perhaps not much sleep, it gives skin a welcome boost and helps me look a little more awake before applying makeup.
Away from the familiar finds, Typebea’s full-size dry shampoo is a product that will be universally adored for its ability to refresh day two and three hair. And for those struggling in the heat, BYOMA’s face mist is ideal for cooling down, while The Ordinary’s SPF45 serum is another standout, particularly if you’re going to be spending hours outdoors..
On the makeup front, the Too Faced Quickie Queen Cream Eyeshadow Stick is a really easy-to-use product that you can simply swipe on and go, while the MILK Makeup Kush Mascara is a mainstay in my makeup kit for long, voluminous lashes. That said, I do often find it can transfer under the eyes, especially in the warmer weather. The REM Beauty Glossy Balm in Cherry Cola provides a pop of colour and a gorgeous finish, though the shade may not be to everyone’s taste.
If I could tweak the edit, I’d lean even further into the festival theme with some more practical products, such as a travel deodorant or Luna Daily’s cleansing spray for quick freshen-ups. The Megababe Thigh Rescue would also be a top choice, which is essential for preventing chafing during long days spent walking around.
Beyond Boots, LookFantastic has recently launched its Summer Beauty Edit (£40), featuring recognisable names such as Aveeno, NARS and Sol de Janeiro. It also includes Supergoop!’s cult-favourite Glowscreen SPF, perfect for achieving a dewy, protected complexion, and Living Proof’s Dry Shampoo for beach days, festivals, and heatwave commutes.
There is also Cult Beauty’s Sunny Escapes Edit, which is skincare, haircare and makeup favourites. Highlights include NudeStix’s All Over Face Bronze Colour for a natural-looking bronze flush and Gisou’s Honey Infused Lip Oil for a juicy, high-shine finish.
As for the Boots edit, it pays for itself in two products alone, with one shopper commenting: “Honestly, love it. The mascara alone is worth £30! Full-size dry shampoo worth £25. Lots of full size products i would never pay full price for, so happy.”
Another added: “I love this box, everything is fabulous. I especially love the makeup in it. I always buy Boots beauty boxes as they are such good value for money and contain some fantastic beauty brands and lots of full-sized products.”
Though another felt it could have been more festival-focused, writing: “Nice box, range of products little confused by how it’s ‘festival’ as it seems to contain mostly skin care, but it is great with good products.”
