Celebrities are always glammed up to the nines for red carpets, helped by a team of make up and skincare experts to look their best for their big night. However, there is one high-street product that is something of a secret holy grail for getting that red carpet-worthy glowing skin, and it’s currently on sale for under £10.

Sophie Habboo, influencer and TV personality known for starring in Made in Chelsea, has revealed the Max Factor Glow Framer Bronzing and Illuminating Tint as her essential red carpet makeup product. Now, Boots has a special discount on the Max Factor Glow Framer, where shoppers can save £2 on the product and grab it for £8.99, down from the retail price of £10.99, and there’s also three for two across all Max Factor products.

Seen in action by Sophie’s make up artist, her sister Georgia, during the premiere of The Roses, Glow Framer has been credited for creating a sunkissed, radiant complexion without the need for multiple products. Influencers across Instagram and TikTok have also praised the product, calling it a go-to solution for natural looking, luminous skin.

Max Factor Glow Framer is said to be weightless and blendable with a touch of shimmer for a subtle, bronzed effect. The formula is designed to be versatile, as it is suitable for all skin tones and comes in six different shades, and it can be applied across the face for an all-over glow or focused areas for soft contouring.

If shoppers want to look for an alternative buy, LookFantastic has its ICONIC London Instant Sunshine Bronzing Drops 13ml available for £22 which has also been rated a high 4.4 stars. These drops are easily applied due to a clickable dispenser which is ideal for ‘precision colour and luminosity.’

Glow Framer has been credited for creating a sunkissed, radiant complexion without the need for multiple products.

Or, John Lewis has the Lumene Invisible Illumination Instant Glow Fresh Skin Tint for £36. Described as a ‘fresh, gel like texture’ it can hydrate the skin for up to 24 hours, leaving it feeling ‘fresh and supple.’

Habboo took to her Instagram to share her thoughts on the Glow Framer, as she wrote: “This is everything I love in a product. I genuinely have used this all summer since I first tried it and I love it so much.” Other influencers, such as Mariam Musa, have also gushed about the product, with Mariam saying: “It melts into the skin, feels weightless and leaves me looking radiant in seconds. It’s perfect for those on-the-go days.”

The Glow Framer collection has received strong customer reviews at Boots, too, averaging 4.4 stars. Shoppers have highlighted its lightweight texture, natural finish and ability to add warmth without appearing orange or shiny.

On Boots’ website, one shopper wrote: “I’m loving the glow this gives my skin.” Another said: “So natural looking on the skin. The texture is lightweight and blends in easily without feeling heavy or greasy. It gave me warmth and glow without looking too orange.”

Some others disagreed slightly, saying: “Tested this product by using it all over the face and on parts of the face, I much prefer an all over application. It gives a lovely glow and evens out the skin colour. The packaging doesn’t scream ‘buy me’, though, so not sure it would stand out on the shelves.”

Another said: “The product was really lightweight and sheer. It’s a really good highlighter, especially for those looking for a more natural look. The shade didn’t match my skin colour, but I would definitely recommend this to my lighter skinned friends.”

Overall, however, the reviews were glowing, as another said: “A lovely lightweight tint that gives a sheer and radiant glow to the skin.”
