The bargain chain has impressed coffee and matcha fans shopping for tumblers
B&M shoppers have compared a ‘cute’ £3 tumbler to a pricier £19 version. Known for selling budget-friendly products, B&M’s latest offering has impressed iced coffee and matcha fans. The store has launched ‘colourful’ £3 tumblers, with pink and lime green designs available.
Shoppers thought the new drinks containers were ‘so good’ when they were showcased on social media. TikTok user Ronalda (@Ronaldagatel) loved the look of the tumblers when she posted them in a viral video. In her video, Ronalda wrote: “Your new favourite coffee/matcha tumbler.”
In her caption, she added: “I am SHOOK! B&M Stores, why is this so good?” Shoppers clearly agreed, as the video gained 240k views and 13k likes. The designs wowed customers.
Commenting under the video, one fan wrote: “Love!! Off I go to B&M.” A second excited shopper said: “Running to B&M today.” A third viewer commented: “The colours are SO cute!!” And a fourth fan said: “Ok I need this.”
A fifth thought: “These are perfect for taking iced coffee in the car.” Someone else agreed: “I’ve been looking for a tumbler for my ice coffee that’s cute and pink this is PERFECT.”
Several shoppers also compared the tumbler to a pricier version. In her video, Ronalda showcased the £3 B&M tumbler alongside the viral £19 Nespresso Tumbler, available in mint green.
While the tumblers are not identical, the overall design is arguably very similar, with a rounded base, a colourful dome lid, and a matching straw. Reacting to the video, a viewer said: “Seeing this after I paid £££ for the Nespresso one last year.” Ronalda replied: “I was this close to buying the Nespresso one.”
Another shopper said: “Omg I have the green Nespresso one and have been BEGGING them for the pink, I’m now going b&m thank you.” A fan wrote: “Me looking at my Nespresso cup,” and someone said: “£19 compared to £3, you can’t go wrong.”
Not everyone was convinced, though. A different commenter suggested: “The Nespresso one is way bigger.” Meanwhile, someone else asked: “Why is it so difficult to drink from though??” Ronalda replied: “I’ve noticed that, but it wasn’t impossible still love it as much for £3 can’t complain really.”
Others wanted to know if the B&M tumbler was leakproof. In response, Ronalda shared another video putting the tumbler to the test, and she claimed it is ‘100% leakproof.’ Replying to the video, a viewer said: “Was sweating watching you twisting it and shaking it thinking it was gonna go all over.”
The shopper responded: “I was ready to go get changed; however, it’s fair to say it’s passed the leak-proof test.” Another fan wrote: “This is insane omg.” Shoppers interested in the Nespresso tumbler can buy it from the website. Shoppers interested in the B&M tumbler are advised to check their local store.
