The seats could give people a chance to enjoy the sunshine when it arrives
B&M shoppers could get a new garden upgrade that looks like a ‘stylish’ and popular Dunelm option for a fraction of the cost. With warmer weather coming soon, people might enjoy using these bargain chairs to take advantage of the early British spring sunshine.
The Madrid Zero Gravity Relaxers come in a set of two for £55. Writing a description of the seats online, B&M bosses said: “Relax in comfort and style with this pair of Madrid Zero Gravity Relaxers.
“Designed for advanced comfort and relaxation, these chairs fully recline so you can be at your most comfortable at all times. Thanks to their built-in zen balance mechanism, it feels like you’re floating on air.”
The chairs are only available as a set and come in a variety of colours. The sage green is the only version shown online, but the website listing also mentions that shoppers can pick from black or grey versions.
The B&M bundle of outdoor chairs has a very similar look to something more expensive being sold by Dunelm. The homeware brand’s Helsinki Lounger garden chair is available online in a variety of colours – including a Lilypad green that is remarkably similar to the B&M set.
The Dunelm chairs are sold separately for £35 each, meaning a set of two would cost shoppers £70, which is £15 more expensive than B&M. These loungers offer “luxurious tranquillity” in gardens with fully adjustable reclining positions that make them ideal for sitting, lounging or soaking up the sun’s rays.
The Dunelm set comes in three more colours – Ashley Blue, Charcoal Grey and Ochre Yellow. Comparing the seats by size, they are very similar: B&M’s chairs measure 109cm tall, 64cm wide and 100cm deep, while Dunelm’s seats measure 109cm tall, 65cm wide and 96cm deep.
With the first few glimpses of spring weather, people are starting to consider what they want to do with their gardens, patios and outdoor spaces ahead of the warmer months. B&M offers a range of new garden furniture and decor, with the latest additions to the budget store’s collection online here.
This year, homeowners seem to value both practicality and prettiness. The budget store is offering a £20 table that soaks up sunlight during the day and becomes a bright ‘lamp’ during the night for half the price of a similar one from Amazon.
Elsewhere, Home Bargains is selling £15 garden wall art that doubles as a light feature. Discount store bosses claimed that the extra-large Firefly Large Metal Wall Art Solar Light “effortlessly enhances” the look of most outdoor spaces.
