B&M is selling a £20 lamp that arguably resembles a £40 Dunelm version. A popular destination for high street shoppers seeking affordable homeware, B&M could be stocking a new must-have homeware product.
The retailer has launched a Large Paper Rope Lamp, which could impress fans of Dunelm’s Kylo Woven String Table Lamp. B&M’s £20 lamp is offered with a ‘trendy’ rattan base and a cream lamp shade. Similarly, Dunelm’s £40 lamp is offered with a rattan base and a patterned cream lamp shade.
As the lamp shades are not identical, customers might prefer one lamp over the other. The dappled effect on the Dunelm lamp shade makes it easy to distinguish from the cheaper version. There’s also a difference when the base shapes are compared, as they’re both circular, but the Dunelm version tapers in at the bottom.
Nonetheless, the designs look very similar, and customers who take a liking to either style might also enjoy the ‘lookalike’. For shoppers keen to save money, B&M’s cheaper lamp could therefore be a tempting choice. At half the price of the Dunelm lamp, it offers a more budget-friendly option.
