A mum and her two children whose bodies were discovered at their home in Great Denham last week died as a result of blunt force trauma, a post-mortem examination has found.
Police discovered Nothabo Zandile Tshuma, aged 42, and daughters Natalie, aged 15, and Nala, aged five, last week after concerns were raised that the family had not been seen for several days.
Ndodana Mkhanyisi Tshuma has been charged with three counts of murder following the deaths of his wife and two daughters.
The 45-year-old was arrested in Kensington, Johannesburg, on Friday after he was found to have fled the country two days before the bodies were discovered.
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) later confirmed it had authorised three charges of murder against him.
