People could save by shopping at B&M rather than other high-street stores this Black Friday month

B&M has launched its Black Friday tech sale, with several electrical items being slashed in price. The bargain store is also selling multiple gadgets, devices and and household appliances that are available at a lower price than the exact same ones at the likes of Argos, Currys, John Lewis and Debenhams.

This year, Black Friday is on November 28, though many retailers will start their discount sales much earlier to get ahead of any competition before the hectic Christmas shopping starts. Many people will wait for the second half of November to begin their present hunting, as some products may go for cheaper than they normally would.

B&M is often a popular choice in the UK for customers keen to stick to a budget as it regularly sells a wide variety of beauty, homeware and tech at affordable prices. This Black Friday month, it has lowered some items by up to £75.

For instance, John Lewis is selling the Beats Pill Portable Bluetooth Speaker Kim Special for £149.99. B&M has the same item on sale but at a Black Friday discount price of £75 – a saving of £74.99.

“The Beats Pill delivers powerful, room-filling sound. The bigger, bespoke racetrack woofer displaces 90% more air volume, packing more of a punch with deeper, fuller bass,” B&M says. “The Beats Pill has up to 24 hours of battery life for all-day playback and can be used to charge your phone or other devices via USB-C cable”, it adds.

At Currys, the JBL Charge 5 Portable Bluetooth Speaker in Black costs £118.97. But customers can save around £70 by shopping at B&M as it is selling the same speaker for £49.

In the product description, B&M says: “Experience your favourite tunes the way they were meant to be heard. This JBL Charge 5 Portable Speaker connects to your devices wirelessly through Bluetooth.

“It provides up to 20 hours of playback, meaning you can take your music wherever you go. Features convenient USB charging and a built-in power bank so you’ll never run out of tunes.”

Argos is currently selling Hoover HF2 UltraCompact AntiHair Pet Cordless Vacuum Cleaner for £120. At B&M, the vacuum costs £40 less as it is on sale for £79 in a Black Friday deal, it was £159.

On B&M’s website, it says the HF2 is the “lightest cordless stick vacuum in the Hoover range”, weighing under 2.4kg, yet it has “impressive suction power to clean your floors”. It also comes with Ultra Compact X3 technology, which means “you can easily extend the suction power with a simple action”, and triple your capacity from 0.3L to 1L.

It adds: “HF2 comes fitted with an anti-hairwrap combination floorhead to actively prevent hair wrapping and untangle hair as you clean. The top window pops open for instant access, making maintenance completely hassle-free. This model comes with a powerful mini-turbo brush included. This loosens and removes stubborn pet hair from cushions, sofas, carpets and even stairs to ensure that your entire home can be free from fur.”

Currys is selling the Salter EK6137 Coffee Machine in black and silver for £80.99. But at B&M, shoppers can get it for £31.99 less, as it has jumped down from £69 to £49 as part of its latest Black Friday line-up.

Describing the product online, B&M says: “Enjoy barista-style coffee at home with the Salter Manual Espresso Machine. With consistent pressure to extract maximum flavour for rich and delicate coffee, you can rely on the perfect shot everytime.”

It continues: “Enjoy as a reviving espresso, use the frothing wand to create a foamy latte or pour over ice cream to satisfy your sweet tooth.” The machine features 850W power, 15-BAR Italian pump and a milk frothing wand.

Another Salter product on sale at Currys is the Aspen Ek6147MMS Stand Mixer, which customers can buy for £64.99. In B&M, the same mixer has been reduced to £39, meaning shoppers can save £26.

“Ever dreamed of becoming the next Master Baker? Now’s your chance with the Salter Aspen stand mixer.” B&M says. “Use the 4 attachments to whip up some perfectly fluffy meringue, create smooth pancake batter or beat your bread dough into shape.”

It adds: “And the pulse function lets you take full control of your mixing. The 5 litre mixing bowl means you’ll have plenty of cake mixture, so why not spoil your guests with an over-the-top 3 tier birthday cake? With 1300W of power, it won’t matter if you forgot to take your butter out of the fridge before mixing.”

Lastly, Debenhams is offering a Sharp 20L Microwave Oven (700W) for £84.99 on its website. However, by shopping at B&M, customers can purchase the microwave oven for £35.99 less, at £49.

In the description, B&M says: “This Sharp 700W microwave offers a contemporary look and design with a sleek silver finish complemented by a black door window and control panel, the perfect addition to any kitchen. With the easy to use control panel and 6 levels of power it’s a great option for your microwave needs.”

Other features include a 20L capacity and manual control. It also comes with six levels of microwave power and is said to have a straight design thats “easy to clean.”

You can’t order items for home delivery on B&M’s main website, as it discontinued its online ordering service in February 2023. The website is primarily for browsing products that can be purchased in-store. However, some special B&M-branded items, such as garden buildings and flowers, may still be available through special delivery services or partners.
