A paramedic officer, a MERIT trauma doctor and critical care paramedic were dispatched to the scene this afternoon, West Midlands Ambulance Service said.
A spokesperson said: “We were called at 2.25pm to reports of a stabbing on Great Charles Street Queensway, Birmingham.
“One ambulance, a paramedic officer and a MERIT trauma doctor and critical care paramedic attended the scene.
“Upon arrival we found a man who was assessed and had sustained injuries not believed to be life threatening. He received advanced trauma care at the scene before being conveyed to hospital for further assessment.”
