Get ready for Christmas with three-for-two gifting at Boots – and get orders delivered in time for the big day
Boots is the perfect place to get Christmas gifts for almost all of my friends and family. As a beauty enthusiast, I spend a considerable amount of time researching and testing new products, so I’d like to think I have some knowledge about makeup, body care, skincare, and scents.
Boots stocks hundreds of brands, from luxury to more accessible brands, with more reasonable price tags. It’s booming at At Christmas time, thanks to its large selection of presents and offers, one of the most sought-after is its 3 for 2 Mix and Match initiative.
The 3 for 2 Mix and Match on gifts offer allows shoppers to buy three presents for the price of two. The cracking deal means customers get the cheapest item for free, all while earning points on their loyalty card.
Moreover, there is still time to order items and receive them in time for Christmas Day. There are several delivery options available at Boots, for instance, standard delivery (£3.95 or free on orders over £25) takes between three to five working days to arrive.
Then there’s next-day delivery (£5.95), which is available if orders are placed before 10pm. However, Boots states that the timescale may be subject to change during promotions and may not be available during public holidays or weekends in between public holidays.

Here’s my gift guide of some of the best products customers can buy in the 3 for 2 Mix and Match range.
Bubble Silky Season 3 Step Hydrating Routine, £30
This limited-edition festive skincare set from Bubble is ideal for teens embarking on their skincare journey. It’s a hydrating skincare set containing a cleanser, toner and moisturiser.
It promises to soothe and nourish the skin, while supporting your skin’s moisture barrier. The products are packed with hydrating ingredients, including Vitamin E, avocado oil, and aloe leaf. What’s more, it’s vegan, cruelty-free, and fragrance-free.
Bubble says the products are safe for sensitive skin. The Silky Season 3-Step Hydrating Routine contains the Soft Launch Hydrating Cream Cleanser, the Bounce Back Balancing Toner Mist and the Slam Dunk Hydrating Moisturiser.
The kit has 463 comments on the Boots website, with 431 receiving five stars. One person said: “Made my skin literally silky as ever. I totally recommend it to those who have dry skin like me!! And I have very sensitive skin, so this is perfect.”
Another pleased user said: “Absolutely best bundle I have used, I love how my skin feels when I use it, especially in the mornings. Makes a great gift for the holidays, even as a stocking stuffer. Bubble is extremely safe for the skin, and the results you will have you wanting more!”
One customer hoped for more treatment-targeted results, writing: “The products work well together and are gentle enough for sensitive skin. However, it’s not a treatment kit, so it won’t help much with acne, dark spots, or anti-ageing. The toner is also very light, and some people feel it doesn’t do much.”
They added: “This kit is best for dry or dehydrated skin and for anyone who wants a simple, hydrating routine. It may feel too heavy for oily skin. Overall, it’s a good choice if you want softness and moisture, but not if you’re looking for strong skincare results.”
A fourth person had a better experience, commenting: “If you’re looking for quality skin care, I recommend this trio!”
Elsewhere, Kiehls is selling a Mini Moisture, Big Benefits gift set for £50. It contains the Avocado eye cream, a face cream and a body moisturiser.
No7 Retinol Sleep 5-Piece Collection, £35
No7 offers affordable and effective skincare, with lines focusing on anti-ageing, hydration, and its new Good Intent collection, which emphasises glass skin. This Retinol Sleep 5-Piece Collection targets wrinkles, uneven pigmentation and promises to firm the skin.
It includes a night cream, an eye cream, a hand cream, a facial mist and a treatment serum. The Pure Retinol Night Concentrate contains 0.3% retinol and is only meant for nighttime use, as is the face cream.
In the reviews, one customer described the hand cream as ‘absolutely brilliant’, continuing: “I had a few age spots on my hands, but after just four weeks, my whole hands look and feel softer, and my age spots have nearly disappeared.”
However, another user didn’t see the same results. They said: “Not as good as I had hoped. Nice smell and rubbed in really well. Not made any difference to the texture or look of my hands.”
On the Retinol Sleep Collection as a whole, another customer commented: “Love the No7 retinol range. I have been using the under-eye cream and pure retinol skin cream for two years. What a difference.
“Regarding my hands, I’ve been using them for two weeks. My hands are more moisturised, and I can’t wait to see what they look like after six months of use. I swear by No7 retinol products.”
Beauty enthusiasts seeking results without the use of retinol can opt for the Clarins Double Serum. The brand’s best-selling serum offers a pant-powered anti-ageing formula, promising to visibly reduce wrinkles.
The Double Serum is currently on sale at Debenhams, with prices from £48.75 for a 30ml bottle. Usually, a bottle of this size is £65. The 50ml and 75ml sizes are also reduced.
The Beauty Crop Starry Night Set, £25
The Beauty Crop achieved viral status last year after its Oui Cherie setting mist became a global hit on social media, thanks to its staying power and affordability. Beauty enthusiasts who are fans of Beauty Crop or are eager to try its products will appreciate using this Starry Night Set.
At £25, it contains five products, including the Oui Cherie Dual Phase Mist, an Avocuddle Mascara, a Peptide calm Lip Treatment, a BFF Brow Gel and an Oui Cherie Primer. All of the make-up products come in a reusable Beauty Crop make-up bag.
Similarly, LookFantastic has a Lancôme Mini Juicy Lip Kit on sale for £31.50, down from £35. Its contents are worth £75, and it includes three pink-toned lip glosses.
Naeo Esme Glass Aroma Diffuser, £30
Unbeknownst to some, Boots also offers a substantial collection of home fragrances, some of which are included in the 3 for 2 mix-and-match offer. This Naeo Livia Glass Aroma Diffuser is available in two colourways, two elegant tortoiseshell hues – white and brown.
The electric diffuser features a glass lid and a 150ml water capacity, equipped with an auto safety shut-off function that activates when the water level is too low. It also has continuous and intermittent mist modes and comes with an adaptor.
For a diffuser in a neutral tone, this Slow Morning Electric Diffuser from M&S is a nice alternative. It’s priced at £35.
Soap & Glory Spa-Studded Cast 5 Piece Gift Set,
It wouldn’t be a Boots gift guide without adding something from Soap and Glory. Every time I smell the Clean On Me body wash, I am transported back to my tweens.
This bumper gift set contains some of the brand’s most-loved products, including Scrub of Your Life body polish, the Righteous Butter moisturiser, the Heel Genius foot cream, a hand cream, and the Clean On Me body wash. Osprey London aftershave, £20
The signature fragrance from Osprey features notes of fresh bergamot, earthy vetiver, and a leather accord. Priced at £20, it is an affordable gift choice for a brother, nephew, friend, or significant other.
