The La Canción rapper admitted he likes to layer fragrances to create his signature scent
Bad Bunny has been the name on everyone’s lips since his iconic Super Bowl Half Time Show and we’ve got the lowdown on his go-to scent. Best of all, it can be purchased at a high-street retailer for less than £100.
The Puerto Rican rapper has been reported to be a fan of layering fragrances and in a 2024 Vogue “What’s in My Bag” video he shared two scents he loves. It comes as no surprise that Bad Bunny’s go-to fragrances are already hugely popular.
He said he was a fan of Maison Louis Marie No.04 Bois de Balincourt and Maison Francis Kurkdjian Amyris Homme Extrait, although he is said to change his fragrances seasonally.
Maison Louis Marie No.04 Bois de Balincourt is described as ‘like a walk in the woods, but better.’ It opens up with woody notes of cedar and sandalwood before taking a spicy turn in the heart with nutmeg, vetiver and cinnamon. It grounds out with a single note of amberwood.
Bois de Balincourt is currently available in a 50ml bottle for £92 at Boots, which is a fairly premium price point but with an average rating of 4.5 out of five from over 1,000 reviews it seems people think it is worth the cost.

‘Like a walk in the woods, but better.’
One shopper said: “One of my favourite perfumes of all time. It’s become a signature for me. Layers beautifully with the body wash and lotion as well and very long lasting.”
While another found the longevity lacking, they said: “I have loved this scent since my daughter gave it as a gift! I spray it profusely but for some reason it just doesn’t last on my skin type.”
One happy customer insisted it always brings in compliments, they wrote: “I get complimented on this everywhere I go. I have tried other brands of santal scent, and this by far is the best. I’ve never worn it and not been asked by it. I use all of their products and they’re incredible.”
The second perfume he mentioned is Maison Francis Kurkdjian Amyris Homme Extrait. Maison Francis Kurkdjian is the fragrance house behind Baccarat Rouge 540 so it’s fair to say it comes with a very premium price point.
At £185 for 70ml it is quite expensive and as a result there aren’t many online reviews of the scent. In a note from the brand it was said: “Amyris is a luminous fragrance steeped in natural, urban elegance, reflecting a vibrant Parisian lifestyle.”
The fragrance opens up with a combination of cinnamon and mandarin oil before shifting to saffron and iris in the heart. The base is a sweeter trio of amyris oil, vanilla and tonka bean. It feels safe to assume that Bad Bunny smells incredible.
