Ariana Grande used to be known for her black winged eyeliner, and now she’s brought the iconic wing back on the BAFTAs carpet, and combined it perfectly with her Glinda-inspired make-up
Ariana Grande used to rarely be seen without her winged eyeliner. However, ever since being cast in Wicked, she has adopted a more paired-back and softer approach to make-up. Now, at the BAFTAs, the singer-turned-actress has brought back her iconic eyeliner, but in true Glinda form, the wing is smokier and less harsh than before, combining her latest film character with her own style.
The wing was missing from much of Ariana’s Wicked press tour and award show attendance, so her fans will be thrilled to see it finally return. We don’t know the exact product breakdown of what was used to achieve Ariana’s Glinda-style make-up look, but there is a high chance that she used products from her own brand,R.e.m Beauty.
If that’s the case, we think Ariana achieved her smudged wing with R.e.m’s At the Borderline Kohl Eyeliner, £16. Due to the smudged nature of the line, the wing definitely has not been achieved through a liquid eyeliner, and Kohl eyeliners are easily blendable, leading us to believe that was the product used.

Ariana kept the rest of her make-up look very similar to her Wicked character’s make-up in the film: dewy, natural and pink, perfectly complimenting the soft wing.
