Amazon has made it even easier to watch Apple TV+ in a new partnership with the streamer following a successful rollout in the US
Apple TV+ has got a new home in a surprise move from Amazon. The retail giant has added Apple TV+ to its ever-growing list of Prime Video channels, meaning Amazon Prime members can now subscribe to and enjoy the platform through their Prime account.
Apple TV+ is now available as a Prime Video add-on subscription for £8.99 per month, but it’s also available to try with a seven-day free trial before making a commitment. This also includes a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime for non-existing Prime members.
An Amazon Prime subscription costs £8.99 per month or £95 per year, with Prime members now able to subscribe to Apple TV+ with no extra apps to download. Apple TV+ is home to some stellar titles, including the likes of Slow Horses, Ted Lasso, Presumed Innocent, Disclaimer, Bad Sisters and Silo, as well as Major League Soccer and Major League Baseball.

There’s also plenty to look forward to, with the hotly-anticipated second season of the Ben Stiller-produced Severance landing on January 17. To date, Apple Original films, documentaries and series have racked up a whopping 524 wins and 2,374 award nominations and counting, including multi-Emmy Award-winning comedy Ted Lasso and historic Oscar Best Picture winner CODA.
Amazon members can now subscribe to Apple TV+ directly through their Prime Video account as an add-on subscription.
Apple TV+ costs £8.99 per month after a seven-day free trial, which also includes an Amazon Prime 30-day trial for non-existing members.
Apple TV+’s addition to Prime Video follows a successful roll-out in the US in October and is also now available in Australia and Canada. Prime Video boasts a stellar library of TV and films, with top titles including The Rings of Power, Fallout, Reacher, The Boys and Clarkson’s Farm. It also broadcasts select Premier League and UEFA Champions League fixtures, including this year’s Boxing Day round of matches, all of which can be streamed free for Prime members.
Elsewhere, Sky has just unveiled a complete overhaul of its TV packages, including the launch of the new £15 Essential TV bundle. This includes more than 100 channels like Sky Atlantic, as well as subscriptions to Netflix and Discovery+.
