If you’re looking for an affordable moisturiser that tackles signs of ageing, reduces skin texture and gives your skin an ‘instant glow’ Shiseido’s 30% off face cream is for you
A great moisturiser is one of the most crucial parts of your skincare routine, especially during the winter months. Between the cold, dry air and the moisture-sapping central heating, winter is one of the most important times to step up your moisturising routine.
And if you’re looking for something that doesn’t just re-hydrate your skin but tackles a myriad of other skin issues at the same time, then Shiseido’s Wrinkle Smoothing Cream is a must-buy. Usually priced at £57 for a 30ml tub, it’s currently on sale on the Shiseido website with 30% off, slashing it to £39.90.

The Wrinkle Smoothing Cream is a great pick no matter what your skin type is; whether it’s oily, dry, normal or a combination of them all, it’s suitable for them all. It has a silky formula that soaks into the skin, and has been designed to tackle everything from dryness and uneven skin tone to fine lines and wrinkles.
Its main goal, though, is to help reduce signs of ageing, with a formula that’s said to show some improvements in as little as two weeks. It uses Shiseido’s ReNeura Technology, which re-awakens your skin’s sensors to make them more responsive to skincare both immediately and long term.
It also includes Kombu-Bounce Complex, which contains three types of algae. This targets the skin’s internal wrinkle-forming mechanism to make skin smoother and more plumped up, and reducing future wrinkles from forming.
The Wrinkle Smoothing Cream doesn’t, however, contain SPF, so if you’re looking for something that’ll offer sun protection too, L’Oréal Paris’ Revitalift Filler Hyaluronic Acid Anti-Ageing SPF50 Day Cream is a great alternative. Not only does it offer SPF50 protection, but it is fast absorbing to replenish and firm the skin, and comes with a price tag of just £29.99 for 50ml.
If SPF is less of a concern, the Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream contains anti-oxidant properties that provide an accelerated lifting effect through increased collagen support, improving elasticity, cell renewal and firmness. It’s also currently on sale down from £98 to £78.40.
However, Shiseido’s Wrinkle Smoothing Cream has gotten some great reviews from shoppers. One said: “This cream feels lovely and smooth on my skin and it has visibly improved the texture of my skin. Not cheap but worth every penny.”
Whilst another agreed: “Used sample of it. Cant say about wrinkles but it gives an instant glow and skin looks plumped whole day.. used it with Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate.”
Some were less impressed with the formula of the Wrinkle Smoothing Cream , with one saying: “It just sits on the skin, it goes nowhere. Doesn’t sink in doesn’t blend in, sticky and heavy. Truly awful.”
Another added: “I like the smell and texture of the cream. However, I couldn’t use it for daytime as my skin was very glossy. In this case I had to use it for nighttime routine and it worked. The skin feels softer and smoother.”
However a third happy shopper praised: “Great smoothing definitely made my wrinkles look less pronounced.”
Whilst another said: “Really nice scent and texture. Absorbs quickly and leaves skin feeling moisturised and soft.”
