The designer aftershave has been praised by thousands of men who have used it ‘for years’
Amazon shoppers can snap up a deal for an extra-large bottle of designer aftershave ahead of Christmas, which is being sold elsewhere for over £120. Several people have said that they appreciate the “intense and spicy scent” the fragrance offers, and it’s now available at a significantly reduced price.
The online giant has slashed the cost of a 200ml bottle of BOSS Bottled Night. Usually, shoppers would fork out a considerable amount for a designer fragrance of this size, but they can secure a bottle in time for Christmas for only £40.
The bottle is selling elsewhere for much more in the same extra-large size. Boots is offering 200ml bottles at £123 and The Fragrance Shop has the 200ml version on sale for non-members at £74, marked down from £123. Compared to rival retailers, the Amazon deal provides shoppers with a much greater saving than just £10.
With a week until Christmas, shoppers can still bag a bargain on aftershave before time runs out. Superdrug has a 100ml bottle of Versace The Dreamer For Him on sale for £26, reduced from £74, and The Perfume Shop has slashed the price of Ralph Lauren’s Polo Red (125ml) from £85 to £37.99, reports the Daily Record.
However, the Amazon offer has received praise from thousands of shoppers. Men have backed the “empowering and edgy” spray that “never disappoints”, and some told others that they have been using the designer fragrance “for years”.
In the reviews, one customer said: “For this price, it was a no-brainer. It’s such an amazing fragrance that can be addictive in the most positive way. A beautiful fragrance that is very unique.”
Another put: “From the moment I tried it, I knew it would become one of my favourites. The scent is fresh, sophisticated, and not overpowering, making it perfect for both day and night.”
A third reviewer shared: “A few sprays in the morning keep me smelling great well into the evening. It’s one of those scents that doesn’t fade quickly or require constant reapplication.” Someone else vouched: “It smells great and the ladies love it!”
A fifth said: “I have used this fragrance for the last eight years. It’s a beautiful, long-lasting smell that turns heads. I get asked all the time for the name of the scent I’m wearing.”
However, some buyers had problems with the fragrance. One complained: “It’s almost impossible (without perfect lighting and eagle eyesight) to see which direction the nozzle is pointing, hence very easy to accidentally spray into your eyes.”
Another described the scent as “literally sickening” whilst a third customer claimed: “The scent is not pleasant to me-it smells quite artificial and doesn’t have the depth or elegance I was hoping for. On top of that, the fragrance barely lasts. Within an hour, it completely fades.”
Customers who experience difficulties with Christmas gifts from Amazon can take advantage of the extended returns policy. The online retailer allows returns for most products within 30 days of delivery receipt.
The website further explained: “Most items sold on Amazon.co.uk follow our general return policies, but some products have different policies or requirements associated with them. For the 2025 holiday season, most items purchased between November 1 and December 25, 2025 can be returned until January 31, 2026 or within 30 days from receipt (whichever is later).”
