Amazon Music Unlimited is giving new subscribers three months free access to over 100 million ad-free songs, podcasts and audiobooks – but shoppers will need to act fast
Whether folks are providing the soundtrack to a jog or enjoying tracks during their commute, the perfect music streaming service can prove invaluable. And currently, a well-liked option has launched an offer that’s especially attractive.
Until 2 April, Amazon Music Unlimited is providing a complimentary three-month subscription plan for first-time subscribers to the service. It’s important to note that following the three-month period, the monthly subscription will cost £10.99 for Prime members and £11.99 for non-Prime members.
Amazon Music Unlimited is a premium music streaming service boasting 100 million tracks in HD and millions of songs in Ultra HD, according to the company. It also features leading podcasts available, all completely ad-free, and includes one complimentary audiobook monthly.
The service also contains an expanding collection of music mastered in Dolby Atmos and 360 Reality Audio, alongside ‘thousands of expertly curated playlists and Stations’. All content is ad-free and users can save songs or playlists for offline playback.
Additionally, subscribers can access personalised recommendations tailored to their listening patterns, and it works with smartphones, tablets, PCs, Fire TVs and Amazon Echo devices. Some of the podcasts on offer include popular titles such as Staying Relevant with Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks, The Rest Is Politics and The High Performance Podcast, plus playlists including Hits UK and Mellow 80s Gold.

Alternatively, if shoppers fancied purchasing physical music they could turn to musicMagpie. The retailer currently has a promotion offering two CDs for £5 or four for £8 on pre-owned albums at present. This encompasses some timeless records including American Idiot by Green Day and Urban Hymns by The Verve, reports the Daily Star.
iTunes also features an extensive catalogue of music, films, television programmes and podcasts via their Apple Music service.
On Trustpilot meanwhile, consumers have given Amazon Music Unlimited strong ratings, with one individual commenting: “Best music player.”
Another contributed as part of a more detailed review: “Amazon Music has been so amazing for the past years. I’ve been using it since the start of covid, and it’s been amazing. With having no ads, with Amazon Music Unlimited, AI curated playlists. And having priority song streaming, I have loved it.”
Some users held slightly different views, as one remarked in a lengthier review: “App makes access convenient and I love building a queue of random tracks. I would like access to album reviews.”
On the whole, most subscribers were satisfied and commented: “They are brilliant at finding perfect song choices for me and I prefer them to other music apps. No issues with them at all and I love their music recommendations for me too.”
