Beauty and skincare lovers can’t wait to try Aldi’s latest products, which have drawn comparisons to several high-end brands
Beauty gurus say Aldi’s latest products remind them of high-end products from brands such as Olaplex and Charlotte Tilbury. The discount grocery chain released several new Specialbuys today (November 21), with everything from lip kits to setting sprays on offer.
Showcasing a selection of Aldi’s beauty and skincare products, @Dylansreviews created a video showing customers what’s on shelves. First, Dylan showed off the £4.99 Illuminate Setting Spray, which is said to offer a long-lasting airbrush finish.
“This is a [alternative] for the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray,” he shared. Dylan continued: “The Honey-infused hair oil is inspired by Gisou.” According to Aldi’s website, the honey-infused hair oil has a ‘professional quality formula’ and costs £4.99.

Dylan added: “The lip kits for £4.49, and these are inspired by Kylie Jenner,” before showing off Aldi’s matte liquid lipstick and lip liner sets. They are available in shades Just Peachy, Velvet Sugar and Nearly Nude.
“New hair perfume is in stock for £4.99. Bonded shampoo gift sets. These are inspired by Olaplex,” he continued. Priced at £9.99, the hair care sets include a Hair Oil, Pre-Wash Hair Treatment, Moisture Mask, and scrunchie.
Other beauty products new to the Specialbuys aisle include £6.99 Caviar Gold Eye Cream, which is designed to hydrate and nourish skin. There’s also a Caviar Gold Day Cream for £8.49 and Caviar Gold Serum for £8.49.
Each item in the range is described as a luxury anti-ageing product. The day cream’s description states that it is ‘formulated with caviar extract, pure gold, liquorice root extract and hyaluronic acid’ to reduce the appearance of fine lines and support skin elasticity.
There’s also £6.99 Ladies’ Eau De Parfum. Fragrance fans can choose from three scents, Forever Adore, Golden Beauty or Radiant Majesty, and £6.99 La Soie Concentrate Serum, which is supposed to be used before daily facial moisturiser to help hydrate your skin.
