The products were a hit when they first landed in stores
Aldi is set to bring back a popular SpecialBuy that was a hit with shoppers last year. The beloved beauty item was first released ahead of Christmas and Black Friday in 2024, and Aldi is planning a similar comeback for 2025.
As part of the supermarket’s own Lacura beauty and skincare line, customers will be able to purchase the two new items starting November 23. In a return sure to please anyone who enjoyed the products last year, Aldi will once again fill its shelves with Lacura Caviar Gold Illumination Day Cream (£8.49, 50ml) and Lacura Caviar Gold Serum (£8.49, 30ml).
An Aldi spokesperson said: “It’s the return beauty fans have been waiting for. Aldi’s viral Lacura Caviar Gold range is back from November 23, and it’s set to bring luxury-level glow without the luxury-level price tag.”
They added: “Already a cult favourite for its rich textures and illuminating results, the Lacura Caviar Gold collection has earned rave reviews from shoppers who claim it leaves skin ‘younger, glowing and dewy’ – all for under £9 a piece. Now, the golden duo is making a dazzling comeback just in time for party season, promising indulgent hydration and that lit-from-within radiance every festive look deserves.”
Aldi says its Lacura Caviar Gold Illumination Day Cream offers a “deeply moisturising” formula that infuses the skin with a “luminous glow”. Meanwhile, the Lacura Caviar Gold Serum “nourishes” and “revitalises” complexions to reveal a more “youthful and illuminated” appearance.
Purchasing both items will cost approximately £17. However, this is a fraction of the cost of a 50ml tub of designer beauty brand La Prairie’s Pure Gold Radiance cream.
La Prairie is a luxury designer brand, and a 50ml tub of its Pure Gold Radiance cream is priced at £785 at Selfridges. La Prairie’s range is made with ‘pure gold’, which serves as a ‘radiance booster’ for a brighter complexion and helps ‘restore’ dry, fragile, or dull skin.
Its product description reads: “Upon each application, its rich, melting texture cocoons the skin, delivering intstant hydration and radiance while smoothing the skin’s surface. Over time, it helps restore density and improve elasticity, whilst firming and revitalising skin. The skin feels intensely nourished, comforted, and replenished with newfound vitality.”
Elsewhere at Aldi, the supermarket will launch its Black Friday 2025 deals as early as next week. Customers can view a complete list of products heading to the discount supermarket here.
Amongst the ‘best’ offers are a new Walking Pad priced at £89.99 and a Straight Air Styler at £49.99. A 50-inch 4K TV will also be available at what Aldi describes as an “unbeatable” price of £239.99.
