The Ninja CRISPi Portable 4-in-1 Air Fryer is currently on sale at Amazon for £109.99 instead of its usual £149.99
Shoppers in need of a brand new air fryer are racing to Amazon to get their hands on one of Ninja’s latest models that has been slashed in price by £40, taking its price down to almost £100. The Ninja CRISPi Portable 4-in-1 Air Fryer usually retails at £149 for its 4-in-1 device, but is down to £109.99 – matching Ninja’s own sale price.
Although at Ninja, only the Sage green hue is on sale for this price – its brighter, more vibrant hues (pink, yellow, mint green) are £119 from £149. At Amazon, shoppers can get both the Sage and the Stone colourway for £109.99. What’s more, those with Amazon Prime can benefit from next-day delivery for this nifty little gadget that I can personally attest is one of the best additions to my kitchen.
Let me explain. Cooking has never been my forte. While many of my friends have shared how whipping up a new recipe is therapeutic and a pastime they enjoy, I find it quite the opposite. The amount of utensils, pots and pans needed is quite stressful and rather unnecessary. But all that has changed since jumping on the trending bandwagon and getting myself this particular air fryer in the stone hue.
Firstly, unlike many airfryers, it’s not an eyesore – it’s made of a coloured top that is easy to handle, and a glass base, through which I can watch my food being cooked in real time. It’s not bulky either – it measures neatly at H:34.5cm x W:30.4cm x D:34cm and fits easily into small spaces, which is ideal for those who don’t have much countertop to utilise.
Aesthetic aside, it’s pretty powerful for something so small (its wattage is 1700W) and is a multi-tasking whizz. As its name suggests, it has four different settings by which to cook food: Air Fry, Roast, Keep Warm, Recrisp. While the two settings I use most are air fry and roast, all four are undeniably useful. The airfrying function cooks dishes in as little as 15 minutes, which is fantastic, while the recrisp and keep warm settings are great for reheating leftovers without drying them out.

PROS AND CONS
Pros
- Compact sizing measuring at H:34.5cm W:30.4cm D:34cm
- Simple functions and easy to use
- 4-in-1 modes
- Glass containers through which you can see the food cooked in real time
- Portable design
- Easy to clean and is dishwasher-friendly
- Ideal for meal prep – the CRISPi comes with lids, allowing you to place the cooked food sealed in the fridge for later
- Stylish design coming in plenty of colours
- Less energy used to cook as opposed to an oven
Cons
- Not quite big enough to cook a full meal for a family of four plus, according to reviews
- No temperature control
- May be considered pricey
It’s important not to overfill the containers with too much food, however, as they might not cook as fast as intended (something I’ve learnt along the way) and tossing them halfway is required for an even finish.
One nifty feature of this air fryer is its layering tray, which enables users to cook a range of things in one sitting. For example, I can put my desired veggies on the bottom to cook and then pop salmon on the crisper plate, which makes an entire meal in one go, without much prep work at all.
What’s more is it’s way cheaper to run than whacking the oven on – according to MoneySuperMarket; something to consider during winter, for sure. This airfryer, with its glass container, ensures a non-toxic cooking utensil that can also be shoved into the dishwasher for easy cleaning (which most airfryers can’t really do).
The set comes with two containers – one measuring at 3.8L for larger parties, and 1.4L for smaller servings – both of which fit the cooking plate. A handy detail is that these containers can be used for both cooking and storing. They come with lids, which can easily be popped in the fridge or taken to work in the container.
This Ninja Kitchen air fryer is one of the few fully glass models available. A similar option is the Argos Cookworks Halogen KHC-617D 15L Air Fryer, priced at £40. However, for those not keen on that aesthetic and prefer an oven-door-style design, the Lakeland Slimline Air Fryer Black is currently priced at £89.99. It boasts seven preset cooking programmes and a clear-view cooking window, allowing users to keep an eye on their food.
The only gripe regarding this Ninja CRISPi 4-in-1 Portable Small Glass Air Fryer is that its temperature cannot be changed – only the time its cooks the food for. This was an echoed drawback for other shoppers, as one review on Amazon read: “Only thing inconvenient is that you can’t change the temperature. It’s all preset. Otherwise, good little airfryer.”
Its four settings are preset to my understanding, making the cooking process more streamlined with less thinking involved and I’ve found that the food cooked in the airfryer has been the best I’ve had – compared to regular oven-cooking. So it’s a drawback I can forgive.
I’m not the only one who has been impressed by this compact air fryer from Ninja, as one Amazon shopper wrote in a five-star review: “Quite possibly the best fryer I’ll ever buy. The 2-size bowls are a Godsend, and I love the glass used because I can see exactly how my food is doing without having to open it. Everything is visible. It’s very easy to assemble and use. I can cook everything in it, and it’s cheaper than using my standard cooker. I bought both paper and silicone liners to help with cleaning and non-stick meals. I recommend a Ninja Crispi cookbook for beginners.”
Someone else noted: “The Ninja Glass Air Fryer is excellent quality and feels very sturdy. It runs quietly compared to other air fryers I’ve tried. Cleaning is simple since the parts are dishwasher safe. The lid and base don’t heat the table or countertop. Food comes out perfectly cooked, especially fried foods, which are crispy without extra oil. It also saves oven space when cooking multiple dishes at once.”
Another added: “Best airfryer I’ve bought, it’s small and as I have a small kitchen that’s great, thought there might be a problem as there’s no temperature control, but it seems to know itself what to do, everything I’ve tried works out perfect.”
Elsewhere, some people have noted that its size may not be enough to feed a family of more than four, but as our household is only two, it’s perfect for me at the moment. The Ninja CRISPi Portable Air Fryer 4-in-1 is on sale at Amazon for £109.99 here.
