The UK ‘nationally recognised leader in construction services’ has been appointed liquidators as files show the company has outstanding debts
A UK construction company has been appointed liquidators with over £430k in debts.
The Ilford based company GTG Civils Ltd was appointed the liquidators on August 3, 2026 after just six years in business.
According to Companies House, the building firm was incorporated on July 9, 2020.
The nature of the business is listed as construction of domestic buildings and its website claims it is ‘a nationally recognised leader in construction services’.
The company has ‘a large pool of experienced labourers based in London and all over the UK’ to provide work across the country.
The website states: “Our team of experienced and highly skilled contractors specializes in groundworks, providing expert solutions tailored to a wide range of projects, from industrial complexes to large commercial developments.”
They carry out commercial projects and well as residential builds.
The firm’s latest public accounts dated up to July 31, 2025 show £430,007 in amounts falling due within one year. The Gazette notes Grace Jones and David Perkins both of Parker Andrews Limited as liquidators.
The collapse of GTG comes amid difficulties for several construction companies, with many plummeting into liquidation this year.
On July 6 a British construction firm specialising in affordable housing collapsed into administration after seven years in business.
Oxfordshire-based Agile Property and Homes designed and built low-carbon modular homes for those in housing need before its closure.
In June, Juma Construction Group also fell into liquidation with over 40 years of experience in the industry, according to the firm’s website.
