Vicky Pattison has been spotted re-wearing her favourite Nobody’s Child floral mini dress that’s perfect for the incoming heatwave – and it’s now on sale for £41
Another heatwave is heading our way, and it’s the perfect time to pull out your favourite breezy dresses again. And this time around, we’ll be following in Vicky Pattison’s footsteps, as the presenter re-wears one of her favourite lightweight and breathable mini dresses during a recent appearance.
Vicky had previously worn the aptly-named Multi-Coloured Floral Sleeveless Vicky Mini Dress from Nobody’s Child while presenting her radio slot at Heart, and this week she threw it on again to appear on Joe Marler’s podcast. The dress is made with a linen and cotton blend which is ideal for the hot weather, and thanks to Nobody’s Child’s summer sale, it’s now even more affordable.
Celeb-loved Havaianas flip flops that are ‘comfy and reliable’ are slashed to £24
‘Easy to throw on’ £28 midi dress that ‘hangs just right’ has shoppers buying it in multiple colours
Usually priced at £59, the Vicky Mini Dress has now been slashed to just £41, and Vicky’s already proven how versatile it is for your summer wardrobe. It’s just smart enough to be worn for work on those scorching hot days, but it’s also a great choice for your next holiday with flip flops or sandals, or even worn with some heels for a nice dinner out.
The dress is made with 70% cotton and 30% linen, with a 100% organic cotton lining. Both fabrics are a top choice if you want something cool, comfortable and breathable in the heat, as they help wick away moisture and allow your skin to breathe, stopping you from overheating and feeling sweaty.
Although we love the bold colours and floral pattern of the dress Vicky picked, the Vicky Mini Dress also comes in four other colours and prints, including bright red, white, black, and a pale blue swirled pattern. It’s also available in sizes four to 18, and features a rounded neckline and sleeveless cut to keep you cool and comfortable, with a fitted, tailored shape and gathering around the empire waist for a flattering fit that doesn’t feel too clingy.
The high street is also full of great alternatives, including Marks & Spencer’s Linen Blend V-Neck Tie Detail Mini Dress for £40 which has a V-neck with ruffle details around it, and a gathered waist that’s relaxed and flowy. For a more minimalist shape, pick up Uniqlo’s £34.90 Sleeveless Linen Blend Mini Dress which has a classic A-line shape, or head to Next for its White Linen Blend Mini Shift Dress, which is £48 and adds a little extra sparkle with some sequin embroidery on the front.
However, the Vicky Mini Dress that Vicky wears on repeat is a huge hit with other shoppers too, with one person writing: “Bought this for my sister Vicky’s birthday party. It’s nice and thin for this hot weather were having, and more than one person said it was the best dress at the party! Teamed it with chunky sandals for a more casual look.”
Another reviewer said: “This is a lovely little dress and versatile. I Loved wearing this out on a saturday night but could see it working for work as well.”
Whilst a third wrote: “Lovely dress, it fits just as I’d hoped, the fabric is great quality with a vibrant pattern. It looks just as it does online. Great for summer but I intend to style it with layers/tights in the colder months too!”
The only somewhat negative review was about the sizing, which said: “Really love the dress but had to exchange for a bigger size – have no problem fitting in other Nobody’s Child size 12s.”
