Nothing will get you through the summer quite like a good pair of flip flops, and Havaianas are one of the best-loved brands around. They have an A-list fan base that includes Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, Jennifer Aniston, JLo, Rihanna and Dua Lipa, and are arguably the number one go-to flip flops to wear every time summer rolls around.
Although there are countless different iterations of the Havaianas flip flops around, the simple slim pair are a timeless classic, and we just found them on sale. Usually priced at £30, the white pair are currently down to just £23.99 at Amazon, whilst the navy and black options are now £28.99.

Although flip flops are an obvious pick for holidays, and perfect for heading down the pool or the beach, this summer has seen a true revival of them as everyday footwear. We’ve seen the Havaianas flip flops worn with everything from slouchy denim jeans to wide leg silk trousers and cute mini dresses this summer, proving just how versatile they are.
They’re small enough to pack in hand luggage for a few days away, and are comfortable and lightweight enough that you can wear them all day, every day for everything from sightseeing abroad to your morning commute. They’re made in Brazil with a soft, flexible rubber sole that’s textured to give you additional grip and support. The straps are made from PVC which helps them maintain their shape without getting stretched or worn.
Although the slim version of the Havaiana flip flops are a classic, the brand also offers countless other styles, colours and shapes to liven up your summer wardrobe. The square toe version – which is a favourite of Gigi Hadid – sells out almost every year, although we’ve found some that are not only still in stock, but on sale too.

Another celeb-loved pair are the Arch Support Flip Flops from Archies, which are £35 and come in 17 different colours. Unlike most flip flops, which have a flat footbed, these have a moulded one with arch support which were designed by physiotherapists for maximum comfort and support.
However, the Havaianas flip flops are a classic, and they’ve gone down a storm with Amazon shoppers. One reviewer said: “Lovely colour, lightweight and good quality. Ideal for the summer. I specifically got them for using around a hot tub and they have been ideal. Not too thin in the sole. Also very light for packing in a suitcase.”
With another agreeing: “Love the colour of these dark blue flip flops. They are comfortable, lightweight and were easy to pack in my suitcase. I also bought them in black and they have been just as comfy and reliable. The strap across the top of the foot is quite thin but they are sturdy and will last me a few holidays. I didn’t walk too far in them but they were perfect around the hotel complex. The story behind Haaianas is a lovely one, and I like this brand.”
One person did mention, however: “Unfortunately, not what I expected from such a well known and hyped brand. The toe post isn’t finished well(it has a line running down the middle) and therefore I had a raging blister for the first 10 days wearing these. Love the colour and they fit well but lose stars over the quality of finish.”
