The Crinkle Tummy Control Striped Swimsuit is made with tummy control technology to smooth figures while poolside
For many of us Brits, heading off to somewhere hot and tropical during the summer holidays often means we’ll be pool and beach-side in a bid to soak up the warmer climate. And having a swimsuit that helps us feel and look amazing can make all the difference (especially if we feel a little self-conscious of our summer body).
Marks and Spencer shoppers are showering a swimsuit from its new range in praise for its ‘good support’ around the bust and flattering cut that gives its wearer a ‘flat’ tummy. The Crinkle Tummy Control Striped Swimsuit by brand South Beach costs £32 and is available in sizes eight to 18 – although a few shoppers have said it comes up large in size, so keep that in mind when purchasing.
While £32 isn’t exactly breaking the bank, we’ve found a way to get the swimsuit for even less by purchasing it via cashback website TopCashback. How it works is, shoppers who sign up as brand new members to TopCashback will be eligible for its registration bonus, which is £15. This is viable on first purchases over £15 made via TopCashback.
Once the purchase is made at its regular cost, in this case £32, the £15 bonus will be credited into users’ new TopCashback account within seven working days alongside any additional cashback due. For customers who are new to both TopCashback and Marks and Spencer, this means the price of the swimsuit essentially drops to £16.20 (inclusive of free click and collect – regular standard delivery is additional at £3.99). For existing shoppers to Marks and Spencer, it’ll be slightly higher at £16.73.
As the swimsuit’s name suggests, the holiday staple is decorated in white stripes that nicely contrast the black background, while its crinkle design gives it a lovely textured look that skims over any lumps and bumps.

With a gorgeous scoop back and rounded neckline, the swimming costume also comes with non-wired padded cups that help create a flattering shape. Although its hero feature is the tummy control technology, which works by smoothing the silhouette from all angles that shoppers say is ‘perfect’.
One drawback some people might find with the swimming costume is that it doesn’t come in other lengths, meaning the body may be slightly shorter or longer on different builds. For those needing a wider sizing range, Pour Moi’s £49 Palm Springs Colour Block Tummy Control Swimsuit – Black/White comes in sizes eight to 20 and petite, regular and tall lengths. Its bold colour block pattern enhances and defines body shapes, while its lightly padded moulded cups and secret support shelf, provides subtle lift and all-day comfort.
For more of a block colour design, Boux Avenue’s Rivoli monochrome swimsuit – Black Mix is £52 and has a black all over design with a contrasting white trim that makes it look way more expensive than it is. Available in cup sizes, the swimsuit is ideal for those with bigger busts thanks to its sizing going up to 38G.
The M&S swimsuit is perfect for holiday trips thanks to its chic and sophisticated design that fashion fans have been loving, stating how it’s ‘good looking and fits well’.
One 5 star review read: “Good looking and fits well. I haven’t washed yet but it feels good quality and is reasonably price. Gives me a flat look tummy!”
Someone else mentioned how it was ‘Comfy and flattering’ and said: “I usually buy a 14/16 in a swimsuit as I have 34G boobs but this in a 12 is perfect. Easy to put on, no silly clasps inside, high cut legs which are super flattering. Gives OK boob support without underwire. Would recommend.”
Many Marks and Spencer fans have added how the material is ‘stretchy’, which makes it great for all day wear. One user did, however, have a mixed experience and remarked: “This is a great swim suit. Works for holiday pool and also at gym pool. I like the colour and it fits well. Only issue is the useless pads. I immediately remove these as they just move around and serve no purpose.”
Someone else echoed how it was slightly larger than expected – something to keep in mind when purchasing: “Great cut, not too revealing nor too covered up. Good support and tummy holding without being restrictive. Had to size down though, the 16 was huge whilst the 14 fits well.”
That said, most people loved how it’s ‘not too expensive’ but still looks ‘stylish’, with one person raving how the Crinkle Tummy Control Striped one piece is a ‘Lovely swimsuit’, that’s ‘flattering and comfortable’.
