Ferrari star Lewis Hamilton is loving life on and off the track ahead of this weekend’s British Grand Prix
Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton enjoyed a great start to British Grand Prix weekend by clinching pole for Saturday’s sprint race. Hamilton’s resurgence on the track follows a tough period since he joined Ferrari from Mercedes in 2025.
The British driver, who has won at Silverstone on a record nine occasions, took the top spot from championship leader and Silver Arrows star, Kimi Antonelli, by a mere 0.011 seconds.
While Ferrari struggled in Austria last week, Hamilton claimed his first win for the Prancing Horse in Barcelona the race before. He also finished second in Canada and Monaco this season.
However, much of the talk surrounding the 41-year-old has centred on his new relationship with reality TV star and business mogul Kim Kardashian. From Hamilton’s net worth to his romantic life and plans to even change his name, we take a closer look at the Ferrari star.
Lewis Hamilton’s net worth
Hamilton has ascended the Sunday Times Rich List, ranking 294th in 2026. This is up from 324th last year, thanks to his estimated net worth of £435million.

He reportedly earns up to £50m per year on his current contract with Ferrari. The 41-year-old has also secured major endorsement deals with brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, Puma, Sony, Dior, IWC and Lululemon, which are expected to add around £22m to his annual earnings.
Hamilton has a wide-ranging business portfolio, including his own film production company, Dawn Apollo Films, which produced the F1 movie starring Brad Pitt. The driver is also part-owner of the NFL team, the Denver Broncos, and co-founded Almave, a non-alcoholic tequila brand.
Lewis Hamilton’s name-change
Hamilton has claimed he would like to change his name in order to pay tribute to his mother by legally adding her maiden name to his middle name.
He said in 2022: “I’m really proud of my family’s name: Hamilton. Actually, none of you might know that my mum’s [sur]name is Larbalestier. And I’m just about to put that in my name.”
Hamilton said he intended to adopt the revised name in 2025. However, it’s not yet clear when he will officially change it.
Hamilton added: “Because I don’t really fully understand the whole idea of why, when people get married, the woman loses her name. I really want her name to continue on with the Hamilton name.”
Lewis Hamilton’s new life with Kim Kardashian
Hamilton’s relationship with Kardashian has dominated the headlines around him ever since it was reported that they were dating in December 2025.
They set tongues wagging after being seen on New Year’s Eve in Aspen before millions saw them cosying up to one another at the Super Bowl in February.
In April, the SKIMS owner made a 1,000-mile round trip just to spend 24 hours with her new partner, according to reports. The reality TV giant is believed to have flown from LA to London on her private jet.
In May of this year, the pair were seen with Kardashian’s children, whom she shares with ex, Kanye West, during a family dinner. They were also spotted enjoying a bike ride together.
Kardashian then hard-launched the relationship on social media in June. She has since been a presence at several F1 races.
After finishing in second at Monaco, Hamilton blew Kardashian a kiss from the podium before breaking his silence on the romance.
“It’s amazing to have her come this weekend and have her support. My friends [in general],” he said. “It was an incredible turnout overall. I don’t know what else to say. It’s amazing to have good people around you and supporting you. And she does that for me every day.”
