The beloved flavour had disappeared from the shelves of most British retailers
Brits are hailing the return of the ‘best drink ever’ as a favourite Coca-Cola flavour returns to the shelves. Coca-Cola enthusiasts are rejoicing after the beloved flavour made an unexpected comeback to UK supermarket shelves.
Vanilla Coca-Cola is back on sale in Britain after discreetly reappearing at Iceland stores and online following its absence from most UK retailers. The revival was initially noticed by food deals page Newfoodsuk, which posted a photograph of the drink on Facebook with the caption: “Vanilla Coca-Cola is back, now available exclusively at Iceland Foods.”
Customers were swift to express their delight at the return of the popular favourite. One person wrote: “Best drink ever. Especially bottled.”
Another shopper said: “It’s back!! Finally.” One fan added: “My favorite one.”
Vanilla Coca-Cola was previously widely stocked throughout the UK before progressively vanishing from supermarket shelves, though it has periodically returned for limited periods and continued to be sold in certain international markets. Now, eager fans can once more purchase it – but exclusively at Iceland.
According to the retailer, an eight-pack of 330ml cans is priced at £5, while a 24-pack costs £12.50. Both multipacks are presently listed as “New” additions on Iceland’s website.
The comeback arrives as flavoured cola variants continue to demonstrate popularity amongst shoppers, with Coca-Cola frequently launching and rotating limited-edition flavours in the UK. For the time being, Vanilla Coca-Cola can only be found at Iceland, so fans might want to buy in bulk while stocks last.
