Choosing the perfect bedding can be hard work, especially with plenty to choose from. Dunelm currently has a summer sale, with a number of bedding items being reduced.
A standout choice is the Aria Seersucker 100% Cotton Duvet Cover & Pillowcase Set, which has received many positive reviews from shoppers. The duvet cover set has been branded “stylish” whilst “looking more expensive” than it is.
All the bedding sizes have been reduced, as it comes in single, double, king and super king options. Dunelm also offers six colour options.
There is blush, ink blue, powder blue, sage, white and taupe. The double-sized duvet and pillowcase set should be £32, but is now £16 for the blush, powder blue and taupe options.
Ink blue, sage and white bedding options are now £25.60 for the double-sized. The duvet and pillowcase set in the king-sized option was £38.
Now, the blush and powder blue is £19 while the ink blue, sage and white options are reduced to £30.40. Dunelm’s description reads: “Introduce sophistication to your space with our Aria seersucker duvet set, blending comfort and style for a luxurious touch.
“The tactile seersucker texture adds visual interest, while the cotton composition ensures breathability for a cosy sleep. Transform your bedroom into a haven of relaxation and style.”
The set is made from 100% cotton and is machine washable. A happy shopper said: “I am absolutely delighted with this duvet set. The 100% cotton fabric feels soft, breathable, and very comfortable to sleep in.
“The seersucker texture gives it a stylish, fresh look and means it requires very little ironing. It washes beautifully and has maintained its quality and shape after laundering. Excellent value for money and highly recommended.”
Another added: “Lovely and soft. Looks much more expensive than it actually was! Will buy again.” Someone else commented: “Lovely seersucker bedding that keeps looking fresh and doesn’t need ironing. This is my second purchase of the same item over a year ago and is in constant use.”
However, some shoppers have said the bedding changed after being washed. One said: “Material awful and it’s just a complete rag after being washed.”
Another added: “This range does not wash well at all and the whole set looked old just after one wash. The seersucker effect did not last at all and I have since purchased a new set from elsewhere.”
Dunelm isn’t the only homeware store to sell seersucker bedding. Next has Seersucker Supersoft Textured Duvet Cover and Pillowcase Set in white and silver grey. A double set is £35 while the king size is £45.
Meanwhile, Argos has Habitat Seersucker Plain Bedding Set in taupe and white for £25 for a double set and £29 for a king.
