Fans say the Path of Lemons scent is ‘fresh and clean smelling’ making it ‘perfect for warm and hot days’
With warm weather hitting the UK and holiday season upon us, a new summer scent can be a great way to update a beauty routine. With the market awash with options, finding a signature fragrance can sometimes prove costly and time consuming.
Now, Sentier is offering perfume fans the chance to bag a set of ten mini fragrances for £25, making each of the 1.5ml tester bottles £2.50. However, when purchasing the set, shoppers also receive £25 worth of credit to put towards their first full-size 50ml or 100ml Sentier bottle, so for shoppers who like one of them, the set is effectively free.
The set – which is perfect for holidays or even as a gift – contains some of the brand’s most popular perfumes including Le Marais, the award-winning Parisian Embrace, Oud Gaiac and more. The discovery set has impressed users, with one saying: “Fabulous scents for different moods.”
Meanwhile another liked that they could try them out without committing to a full sized bottle, writing: “Good way to find which one suits me. Ended up loving “Path of Lemons” and now wear it every day.” Speaking of Sentier’s Path of Lemons, the perfume stands out for summer thanks to its refreshing notes of bergamot, grapefruit, and tangerine.
The zesty citrus scent – which costs £112 for a full bottle normally, though is currently £78 on offer – is combined with floral notes of lavender and iris, and reviewers who purchased the larger bottles have left high praise for the perfume, with one saying: “The Path of Lemons is such a lovely summer fragrance. Fresh and clean smelling, perfect for the warm and hot days. My favourite at this time of year.”

Boasting only five star ratings, many felt it reminded them of being near the coast, with a further reviewer commenting: “Zesty citrus top notes of bergamot, grapefruit and tangerine make this perfect for summer—like a mini Amalfi escape.”
Another raved: “Delivers the Amalfi Coast atmosphere in a bottle – sun-warmed citrus that’s not too sharp or fleeting.”
Meanwhile someone else said: “Absolutely love Path of Lemon! Smells so citrusy and a perfect scent for summer. If you are into fresh citrusy scents then you’ll love it so much! This scent is very addictive and long lasting.”
Another noted the fragrance was unisex, while a further review reads: “Invokes summer afternoons walking through lemon groves—light and refreshing, yet with enough complexity to feel luxurious.”
Elsewhere, at LookFantastic there’s the Jo Malone London Cool and Fresh Travel Cologne Duo which includes two mini scents for £36. Buyers will receive an English Pear and Freesia travel cologne and a mini Wood Sage and Sea Salt fragrance.
Meanwhile, at Space NK there’s the Penhaligon’s Scent Library which retails for £35. The set includes 8 x 2ml scents for fragrance fans to try. Back to Sentier, and the brand’s other scents have also received glowing reviews with the sought-after Parisian Embrace also proving a hit.
One fan said: “The initial burst of mandarin and pink pepper is invigorating. Great for a refreshing start to the day,” while another wrote: “The brown sugar and vanilla base notes create a comforting scent that lingers beautifully throughout the day.”
Whilst there’s no negative reviews of either Path of Lemons or Parisian Embrace on the Sentier website, it is worth noting that one reviewer did highlight a minor concern around the longevity of the fragrances in the Discovery Set saying: “Good scents, but don’t last long.”
Despite this, someone else praised the set as a gift, writing: “Quick delivery and so beautifully wrapped. It’s a present but I know it’ll be well received! Might get one for myself to try some different fragrances.”
