Sky Mobile has knocked more than £100 off Apple’s thinnest-ever iPhone, but the deal isn’t around for long.
Apple’s thinnest-ever iPhone has been reduced by more than £100 as Sky Mobile kicks off an early summer sale. This gives Apple fans the chance to secure the ‘lowest ever price’ for the new iPhone Air.
This model launched in September as part of the iPhone 17 lineup and has been reduced to £24 (was £27) when spreading the cost. Sky says this is a record low price for the phone, which delivers a total saving of £108 over the contract term.
The deal is for the 256GB model, while the iPhone Air 512GB has dropped to £28 (was £31). Both options require a £12 upfront cost to secure the deal, which can be paired with one of Sky’s data plans that are currently half price for three months.
Among the standout options are 10GB for £7 (usually £14) and 50GB for £10 (usually £20). The same deals are available with Apple’s 2025 addition to its budget-friendly ‘e’ series, the iPhone 16e, which has fallen to £16 (was £17) over 36 months.
Each deal is running until June 17, but there are a couple of caveats to be aware of. Firstly, while Sky’s iPhone Air contracts run for 36 months, customers can upgrade to a new phone from 24 months at no extra cost.

Sky Mobile has knocked £108 off Apple’s iPhone Air, reducing it from £27 to £24 when spreading the cost.
Secondly, Sky states that its prices ‘may change’ during the contract term. Elsewhere, Carphone Warehouse offers the iPhone Air on a shorter 24-month contract at £35.99 per month and £29 upfront, with 100GB of data included at no extra cost.
For those preferring not to commit to a contract, Amazon has knocked £250 off the iPhone Air at £749 (was £999), when ordering the Cloud White, Space Black or Sky Blue models. Technology Editor Dave Snelling was a fan of the iPhone Air when he first saw it at Apple’s launch event in California, saying it has ‘the wow factor’.
“The Air measures in at just 5.6mm thick. That not only makes it the thinnest iPhone Apple has ever made, but it’s also skinnier than Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge.
“The pictures really don’t do the design any justice at all. This device definitely has the wow factor and will also take up far less space in those skinny jeans.”
David also highlighted the ‘very impressive’ brain of the phone, saying: “The Air is getting a very impressive A19 Pro chip under its glass and metal shell, the same processor that powers the top-end iPhone 17 Pro models. This super brain will ensure the Air keeps pace with all your daily digital needs and offers decent performance when gaming on the move.
However, David also highlighted some key factors that prospective iPhone Air buyers should keep in mind, saying: “To keep things thin, Apple has only put one camera on the rear case. That means there’s no ultra-wide snapper or telephoto lens for zooming.
“The company promises that its 48MP Fusion camera system offers many photographic features, such as different focal lengths and portrait mode. It can also shoot video in pin-sharp 4K with Dolby Vision. However, this is clearly a slight compromise that iPhone fans will need to consider.
He also noted that the gadget’s battery won’t last as long as other iPhones’, adding: “There’s no hiding the fact that a thinner phone means a smaller battery inside. Apple is promising all-day life but has admitted that it won’t last as long as the iPhone 17 Pro.”
