A bestselling duvet cover from Marks and Spencer has ben branded “fantastic quality” and “good value for money”. The high street store has plenty of options when it comes to bedding.
Yet, the Egyptian Cotton 230 Thread Count Crisp Duvet Cover remains a bestseller. The duvet cover comes in a wide range of 15 colours, including ice white, sage, terracotta and teal.
Shoppers can select from single, double, king size or super king size options. Prices start at £30 for the single and go up to £45 for the super king size.
The description reads: “This premium duvet cover is crafted from pure Egyptian cotton with a 230 thread count for a luxurious feel against the skin.
“The durable percale finish gives it a crisp, smooth texture that adds to its timeless appeal. StayNew™ technology keeps the fabric looking fresh wash after wash, while the practical non-iron finish reduces time spent on laundry.”
The duvet cover is made of 100% Egyptian cotton and has a 230 thread count. Pillowcases are sold separately, and are £15 for a pack of two.
Many shoppers have been happy with their purchase as one said: “We have these on different colours in every bedroom in our house now. Fantastic quality, good value for money and wash and dry well. What’s not to like?”

Despite the positive reviews, some shoppers found the duvet not to be comfortable. One said: “Would not recommend. Took all the packaging off otherwise wish I could return it. Feels hard and uncomfortable.”
Another added: “Crunchy material, great quality but easily marked with cream – not a fan.” Someone else commented: “I bought 2 sets of these but I found it very scratchy on my skin and made me feel really hot.”

A single duvet cover is £30, double is £40, king size is £50 and super king size is £60. Meanwhile, Next has Collection Luxe 400 Thread Count Egyptian Cotton Sateen Duvet Cover and Pillowcase Set in 12 colours.
The set is priced at £50 for a single bed, £62 for double, £72 for king and £82 for super king size.
