Snack giant Walkers risks leaving fans disappointed after pulling the plug on what had appeared to be a popular range
Crisps giant Walkers has ditched one of its popular snacks for the second time on four years.
The firm first ceased production of Crinkles crisps back in 2022, then reintroduced them two years later. But Walkers has now confirmed that the product will no longer be available again after production was halted.
Crinkles were described as having a perfect crinkle cut with a salted flavouring and “more flavour in every ridge”.
The PepsiCo-owned brand told one fan: “Sadly our Walkers Crinkles range stopped being produced in Feb 2026.”
Indeed, a search on supermarket websites showed Crinkles were no longer being stocked in multipacks.
The move is expected to leave those who enjoyed the snack disappointed.
One shopper, who gave them a maximum five stars, called them “simply brilliant” They added: “I regularly buy these Walkers Crinkle crisps and one bag is never enough, great flavour and taste and not hard or sharp.”
Another wrote: “These crisps are incredibly crunchy with a thicker cut and crinkled texture, which gives them an extra satisfying bite. The simple salted flavour is just right—not too overwhelming but enough to keep you reaching for more.”
Time will tell whether Walkers takes on board feedback from fans and reintroduces them at a later stage.
In February this year it emerged Walkers had revived two flavours of crisps – albeit with a mixed response.
The popular brand, best known for big sellers such as cheese and onion and salt and vinegar, brought back two varieties that were apparently discontinued two decades ago.
Shoppers spotted the Chilli and Cocoa Sensations, alongside its Slow-Roasted Lamb and Mini Sauce flavour. Both are being billed as limited edition only.
One unhappy customer wrote: “Not as good as back when Walkers did these. The pack I have just tastes like chocolate and no chilli.”
Another added: “So they discontinued Snaps after 40 odd years and bring back these disgusting for me flavours Lol.”
