Home Bargains shoppers can get a similar look and feel for less
Home Bargains is selling a ‘hotel-inspired’ set that not only is said to make bedrooms look ‘luxurious’ but also is similar to a pricier version available at Next. The budget superstore is popular across the country thanks to its wide range of homeware items at affordable prices.
As part of its latest bedroom stock, Home Bargains is selling a Hotel Collections 200 Thread White Count Satin Stripe Cotton Duvet Set. For £19.99, shoppers can get two matching pillows, and the set is made from 100% cotton.
According to the store, the bedding set “feels wonderfully soft” and as it is made from cotton, it provides a “breathable experience” for a “restful sleep. There are only two sizes on offer, double or king, and they can be found in stores or purchased online.
The product description reads: “Elevate your bedroom with the Hotel Collections 200 Thread White Count Satin Stripe Cotton Duvet Set. Crafted from 100% pure cotton, this luxurious bedding provides a soft and breathable experience for a restful sleep, accompanied by two matching pillows.
It adds: “Beautiful hotel inspired bedlinen to create a fresh and elegant look in your bedroom. Crafted in pure cotton, this bedlinen will feel wonderfully soft and breathable for a comfortable night’s sleep.”
The £19.99 Hotel Collections 200 Thread White Count Satin Stripe Cotton Duvet Set could be a more affordable alternative for anyone who likes the look of Next’s Ivory Collection Luxe 300 Thread Count Cotton Sateen Satin Stitch Luxury Duvet Cover and Pillowcase Set. The high-street fashion store’s 300 thread count option costs more at £48 for a double.
Similar to Home Bargains, the £48 set is made from cotton to provide a “ breathable” and “comfortable” experience and comes with two matching pillows. The product description reads: “Achieve hotel comfort at home with this bed set. 300 thread count cotton sateen is supersoft and breathable for an extra comfortable night’s sleep. Featuring satin stitch detail.”
While both sets share similarities, there are still differences between them. For instance, Next’s option has a thread count of 300, while Home Bargains’ one has 200. Although they come in similar colours, both have a slightly different, subtle stripe design.
Elsewhere at Home Bargains, customers can get a piece of wall art that could easily be mistaken for a far pricier painting. As part of its homeware range, shoppers can pick up a £12.99 canvas.
The artwork has garnered considerable attention for its striking similarity to a £885 Studio McGee painting. On TikTok, content creator @Homewithrox shared a video of the “gorgeous” piece with her followers.
Shoppers can also ‘feel calm and cosy’ with a £7 item that offers a feature “perfect for bedrooms”. The store is popular across the UK for selling almost anything under one roof at affordable prices.
Shoppers can update their windows with large blackout curtains available in three colours from the Home Collections range. The store’s Home Collections Blackout Single Curtain lets homeowners block incoming light and create rooms that feel “more peaceful and comfortable” without bright sunlight seeping in.
In the product description, the discount brand said: “Bring a warm, comfy vibe into your space with the Home Collections Blackout Curtain set. Each pack comes with one panel, giving you plenty of coverage for larger windows.
