Mascara is my best, best thing and I would say I have tried almost everything on the market. This is the one I compare all others to, and when I have to spend my own money on one, it’s the only one I’d go for. I love the way They’re Real! lives up to its reputation – it fattens up and lengthens my lashes like nothing else. It’s buildable (if you’re quick) and I can keep applying to lengthen your lashes more and more until they really do look like falsies. What sets it apart is the way the bristles go up over the top of the brush, so you can turn the brush vertically and apply to those hard to get to baby lashes at the corner of your eyes.

This is my handbag moisturiser. I like to have it on me when when I’m travelling (it’s under 100ml if you’re flying from airports that still follow that rule) and it’s lovely to apply when your skin is feeling dehydrated, for an instant pep. But it’s also a great emergency cream – I’ve used it on rough patches (especially my elbows), sudden rashes or itchy patches I get occasionally on my hands, dabbed over make-up that’s starting to look caky, under make-up when my skin feels flat. Also on my husband’s eczema, on my friend’s daughter after too much sun… honestly, it’s an everyday saviour that suitable for all skin.
Lancôme Bi-Facil Makeup Remover

If you know, you know. There aren’t many make-up removers as effective as this one and often they leave my eyes feeling stripped and sensitive. Not this bi-phase, which has two layers that mix when you shake it, leaving a light, hydrated feel after use. Unlike some bi-phases which leave something that feels like a heavy, oily layer, this just feels soft and fresh. In fact, the only downside of this product is the slightly eye-watering price, so with this discount it’s nearly perfect.
Kerastase Gloss Absolu Hydra-Illuminating Shampoo 500ml

This was one of the first products that taught me that a good shampoo can make all the difference to you hair. Any shampoo will clean your hair and leave it looking nice, but a good one can leave it tamer, de-frizzed, glossier and better behaved. This is their big-sized bottle (the only one on offer) and it’s refillable too. Yay for the planet. Now, the problem with this offer is that I cannot (will not… but also cannot) use a non-matching shampoo and conditioner duo. It ruins a hairwash. And the matching shampoo is not included in this offer. Sephora, this is just mean. Still, it’s great enough price that I’d purchase this and then keep it in my cupboard until I find the matching conditioner on offer somewhere else, like here at Boots.
