The light and blendable formula is already a big hit for creating a natural flushed glow – now you can get it in a sunkissed bronzer as well
Victoria Beckham Beauty has many iconic products in the range, but among the favourites has to be their Colour Wash Water Tint Blushes. In three colours – Vintage Blush, Coral and Flushed (a sheer red which, by the way, is Victoria’s own signature shade), it has wowed fans with its long-wearing, natural and blendable finish.
And beauty addicts like us are rejoicing because there’s now a range extension, branching out of blush and into bronzer, with two new colour additions joining the set.
Colour Wash Bronze Water Tints, £44, come in two sunkissed shades. There is Tanline, described as a sheer, medium bronze, and Heatwave – a sheer, dark bronze. Just like the blusher, it’s a watercolour-inspired cheek colour that soaks into your skin to create a diffused glow. Natural, but so flattering, like the colour is rising up from within.

Apply with the pippet, your fingers or with a brush, one of the magical aspects of this product is that it has a slow setting time, allowing you enough time to blend and build up the colour before it sets. Then once it’s in place, it lasts all day.
According to the brand, it’s formulated with sea water sourced from the rocky cliffs of northern France, to ensure a mineral-rich hydration. Victoria says, “It feels like water, because it is! We’ve packed this formula with mineral-rich sea water and coconut fruit water to detoxify and give skin that fresh, energised glow I’m always after.”
Over 812 reviews this product scores an impressive 4.6 out of five stars, with customers praising the blendable colours and lastability. As one said, “This is a great product, loved the texture, deep colour and stays on forever.” ” VBB never fails! As always just stunning! Great glow and lasts all day” says another.
Not all customers were enamoured with the rollerball applicator however, with one noting “I hope the dropper loosens up over time to make using easier.”
Despite their popularity, water blushes and bronzers are still a relatively rare formulation, though there are other great choices on the market too. For something more affordable, we love Morphe’s Hot Shot Blush Drops, £14, available in 5 shades. Meanwhile the iconic Benefit Benetint Lip & Cheek Stain currently has 20% off in the Benefit Spring Sale. Or you can find the original at original Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blush, £18.45 at Escentual, some shades for half price – a bargaintastic £9.83.
