Marks & Spencer (M&S) shoppers are “running” to buy a new custard cream flavour that’s already flying off shelves. Thousands of customers admit they can’t wait to try it
Every now and then something new lands on supermarket shelves that people can’t wait to snap up, and Marks & Spencer (M&S) has launched a new product that has left shoppers in awe. The supermarket recently shared the new biscuit with customers, and many have admitted they’re already “running” to buy it.
M&S took to Instagram to announce the news this week, and people are already planning their shopping trip to sample the biscuits. It’s often hard to turn down a sweet treat, but it’s even tougher to deny sampling something new when it’s reported to taste totally tempting and delicious.
It’s not the first offering of its kind to grab people’s attention either. Weeks ago, another biscuit was said to be super comforting too.
In the post, M&S said: “NEW in the M&S Foodhall – and it’s outrageously iconic! Say hello to the Giant Outrageously Chocolatey Chocolate Coated Custard Cream.
“Our BIGGEST EVER custard cream biscuit, enrobed in creamy milk chocolate and when we say chocolatey we mean it, in fact it’s 52% chocolate. More chocolate than biscuit.

The post quickly got people excited, as over 4,000 shoppers have engaged with it. Dozens also commented to share their foodie thoughts.
One person said: “Oh my lord, I am RUNNING.” Another added: “I will love this more than I love my husband.”
A third replied: “I need to pick one of these up tomorrow. Can we check stock in specific stores?”
Meanwhile, a fourth commented: “This is my idea of heaven!! M&S Chocolate and Custard Creams.”
Someone else noted: “Can’t wait to try this!!!” One more also wrote: “Straight in my basket.”
It’s clear the biscuits are already flying off shelves as shoppers have either admitted they’ve already bought one, or are on their way to. M&S confirmed they are available to snap up in the foodhall now.
