Police investigating a rape at a Warwickshire railway station have released the name and image of a man they would like to speak to.
Officers were called to Nuneaton railway station at 9.24pm on Friday, March 13, following reports of a rape at the station.
Specially trained officers are continuing to support the alleged victim. Officers would like to speak to Billy Ormiston, who is aged 36 and has links to the Nuneaton, Coventry and Atherstone areas.
Anyone who has information about Ormiston’s whereabouts is asked to text BTP on 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40, using the reference 708 of 13 March.
The British Transport Police said in an appeal posted to its official X account: “Detectives want to speak to Billy Ormiston, 36, in connection to a rape at Nuneaton railway station in March. He has links to Nuneaton, Coventry and Atherstone.
“Got info? Text us on 61016, quoting ref 708 of 13 March. If you see him, call 999”.
“For immediate sightings please do not approach him but call 999,” the force said. “Information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111”.
